It was a great experience. It's a great way to learn more about the artist Van Gogh. The unique and interactive experience were brilliant. The projections of famous pieces of art and the sketching workshop are wonderful and great for visitors of all ages. The entire experience was amazing and well worth seeing. The staff were friendly and very helpful too. I would recommend this experience to anyone interested in Art and or Van Gogh's work.

I went to Van Gogh Alive in Hong Kong and honestly, it was way more immersive than I expected. The way they brought his art to life with huge projections, music, and movement made everything feel so emotional and surreal. You’re literally surrounded by his paintings—like walking through a dream of color and texture. There were also some cool interactive sections where you could learn more about Van Gogh’s life, and even a spot to take artsy photos (which looked great for the 'gram). It wasn’t a typical museum vibe—it felt more like a show or an experience, which I really liked. If you're into art or just want to try something different, I’d definitely recommend checking it out while it’s still in town!

An art exhibition for the senses of sight, sound, smell and touch. It not only introduces Van Gogh's life and paintings, but also adds animation elements when projecting his works to make them come alive. The exhibition hall also introduced the scents they used in the entire projection display, which were combined with different styles and types of music. After viewing all the items, there will be 6 painting boards in the corridor you pass through, and a screen will show and teach how to paint two of Van Gogh's works, including Starry Night and His Room. Finally, you can also purchase photos in the style of Van Gogh for $60 per photo. The overall experience is very good. Although the exhibition hall is not large and the works on display are very limited, I think the works he exhibits are carefully selected and the fragrance and music he uses can make you more immersed in the entire viewing process.

My favorite part of this exhibition was the interactive display where captions accompanied his most famous paintings, guiding us through his life journey with masterpieces like "Starry Night," "Blossoming Almond Tree," and "Sunflowers." The classical music playing in the background elevated the experience even further. Another interesting aspect was the final section, where AI-generated Impressionist-style portraits were showcased—though this required an additional fee. The result was quite interesting, but it would have been better if we could have taken a joint photo with the AI-generated artwork. Overall, it was an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon.

I like the selected paintings with accompanying music. First, I sat on the floor. Then I noticed the other end had English quotes, so I moved to continue. Nice immersive experience.

This exhibition is definitely worth going to. The light and shadow techniques are very shocking. Van Gogh's works become flowing, tumbling, and more detailed. I spent 2 hours sitting on the floor and quietly appreciating them twice. It was very touching and interesting. In the end, I was able to spend 20 minutes following the film to paint two paintings, Starry Night and Arles' Bedroom. It was very fun. It is not convenient to upload too many photos, and I hope everyone can calm down and immerse themselves in the appreciation and experience.

Although the venue is small, it has a rich variety of activities, including introductions to the works, art exhibitions, physical imitation of painting scenes, light and shadow experience exhibitions, painting areas, souvenir areas, etc. As someone who is visiting the Van Gogh exhibition for the first time, you can get a brief and concise understanding of his life; there are also many check-in spots, such as learning and entertainment. In short, this is an exhibition that enriches the senses of vision, smell, touch and hearing.

This is not a traditional art exhibition because there’re no real paintings. Instead, it’s an immersive experience that combines painting and music, together with an introduction of Van Gogh’s life with a clear timeline and the painting style of each stage of his life.

we went on a weekday with no crowds. it’s a small place but a nice set up. the music also makes the show more interesting. the drawing session at the end is pretty cool. would be great if they have luggage storage.

Very good. A large number of Van Gogh's works were displayed by projection. In order to increase the interactivity, a physical scene was created with one of Van Gogh's favorite works, making people feel like they were in the painting. The most surprising thing was the proportion of the physical space, which also imitated the proportion of the painting meticulously.
