You'll even get to munch on some delicious lunch, which is included in your package. Once you're done with your free time, you can go sit by the beach and sunbathe, or you can go for a soothing and rejuvenating swim in the crystal clear waters. If you purchased the package that comes with a snorkeling activity, you can take the opportunity to go snorkeling and discover the majestic aquatic life of Okinawa, and admire its wonders. If you want a breather from the hustle and bustle of Japan's urban sprawl, then Okinawa is the place to be, and going for a swim in the waters of one of its neighboring islands is perfect for you.

Great experience, just need to head to the counter at the port and the staff will issue the ferry tickets accordingly. likewise when we reached Tokashiki Island, there was someone to pick us up. itinerary wise is quite relax as our snorkeling was at 12.30pm, so we had some time to spend at the beautiful beach since we reached around 10.15am. snorkeling experience was great too for a first timer like myself - all the equipment was provided and the instructors were experienced to show us where to look for turtles and fishes etc. was very lucky that the waters were clear and we could see many fishes too!

It was fun! Tokashiki Island has lockers, showers, restaurants, and cafes (prices are high due to it being a tourist spot). You can rent sunbeds and parasols; it's cheaper if you go to the back rather than near the beach entrance (between 1500-2500 yen). Don't get ripped off at the front; go to the back.

The entire trip is accessible in Chinese. There are other cruise companies at the check-in counter, which can be a bit confusing on the spot, so make sure to recognize the cruise company you were notified about the night before when checking in. If you forget to prepare seasickness medicine, it is available for sale at the check-in counter for both adults and children. After checking in, you will be given different colored wristbands based on your assigned snorkeling time. Staff will identify the wristbands for boarding the bus and knowing the time. The snorkeling time is about 40 minutes. The instructor will hold a floating tube, and everyone grabs it and kicks to swim, starting from the shore. The marine life in the sea is beautiful, with many fish, and it's a lot of fun. The kids enjoyed the experience very much. The curry rice provided for lunch was very delicious. After snorkeling, you're super hungry and it really fills you up. You can keep the snorkeling equipment (goggles + snorkel + life jacket + fins) after snorkeling for about 2 hours of free time. You can take the snorkeling equipment and snorkel on your own at Aharen Beach. You can see fish and coral right from the shore. It's a very wonderful view and activity!!!!

Review for: Naha Miegusuku Port · Cruise boat · Aharen beach sea bathing and Tokashiki beach snorkeling

For my first trip to Okinawa, I planned a full day of water activities! I chose Klook's boat trip to Tokashiki Island for snorkeling and water fun, which included equipment! The basic gear provided was a diving mask, snorkel, life vest, and fins. After gathering at 8:30 AM, we waited for everyone to check in, and then around 9:30-10:00 AM, we started boarding the boat. The boat ride to the island took about an hour and a half. The ride was smooth and comfortable, and the cabin was very clean. Once we arrived, we took a shuttle bus to Aharen Beach. The beach was beautiful. After changing into our gear, we had free time to swim and snorkel. It was a lot of fun, and the water was clean and crystal clear. However, it was a shame that most of the coral had already bleached, but it was still truly beautiful, a stunning white. When it was time to gather for snorkeling, we took a bus to the dive site, where the coral was much more abundant. We were lucky enough to see a sea turtle this time, but the coral and sea anemones in the water weren't particularly stunning. Still, the experience was great, and the water was truly, truly, truly crystal clear and beautiful! I didn't put much effort into taking photos while snorkeling, so don't expect anything amazing; they're just a memory with pictures. In fact, the underwater photos I took with my phone turned out beautifully! (Oh! If I had known only basic equipment was provided, I would have remembered to bring a wetsuit for diving instead of just casually wearing a bikini. I had a great time, but I also got extremely sunburned...😅😅)

The beaches on Tokashiki Island were absolutely stunning! The snorkelling experience was super fun too. Our guide was great too, ensuring everyone was safe while also helping us spot wildlife during our tour. We were very lucky to catch two different turtles during our scheduled snorkel session. Highly recommend signing up for the snorkel/dive experience, as the corals and wildlife here are amazing!

I researched planning a day trip to Tokashiki myself with the ferry, shuttle, and snorkeling. When comparing, the value of this package versus the cost of doing it solo just made since. Everyone we interacted with from the meeting room to the snorkeling experience to the bus, lunch, and boat staff were kind, professional, and helpful. I’ve lived in Okinawa for several years, and snorkeling Tokashiku Beach was one of my favorite snorkeling experiences to date due to the calm water and variety of ocean life and coral we were able to see. I was a little disappointed that the Klook page for this trip says that return times are at 4:25pm or 6:50pm, when in fact starting the return trip at 3:00pm seems to be standard operating procedure for the tour. A lot of time is understandably spent in organizing the different sub groups on the tour, so that only left about 1 hour for the snorkel experience, 1 hour at Aharen Beach, and 30 minutes for lunch. However, overall it was great experience!

this experience met my expectations, I wanted a relaxing beach day with no hassle and that’s what I got. it was straight forward and easy. someone will come pick you up at the port once you arrive on the island. the uncle who picked me up was so kind. I actually wanted to leave a bit earlier due to personal reasons but they were not able to change the return time as the high speed boat was already booked (understandable but just make sure you are prepared to be on the beach for ~6-7 hours). Lunch was veggie curry + rice. there are many shops for drinks/food. I would still recommend bringing snacks and couple of waters. Umbrella and chairs are available for rental on site - they will assist you with set up. Upon return I did see public buses that would take you directly to the beach with a small cost. I would recommend this to those who don’t want to go buy boat tickets or handle transportation on your own.

I loved the experience! We saw a turtle and quite a few different fish among the corals. They lent us wetsuits so we wouldn't get too cold, and they took photos and videos so we could have a souvenir.
