Rottnest Island Segway Guided Tour from Perth

Rottnest Island is a highly recommended vacation island. The scenery is beautiful and the beaches are stunning. This Segway tour is a rare opportunity to enjoy the experience. Before the tour, there is a 20-minute training session to teach team members how to use the Segway. Afterwards, the tour goes around two beaches, a lighthouse, and the town, with explanations of Rottnest Island's history, scenery, and prominent figures along the way. Highly worth participating in.

Our guide Paul is experienced and Segway is an awesome way to see the island (and meet some quokkas). I was totally new to this but the introductory session helped me gain confidence on the Segway very quickly. Just a word of advice - if you book the 11am tour but are coming into Rotto on the morning ferry, it may be too rushed as you would still need to get a bus ride to the Segway meeting point. We were late for the morning tour, and thank God Paul allowed us to join in the afternoon tour, but I would advise participants to choose the afternoon tour if they are only taking the morning ferry in.

1 hour is not enough. It’s not difficult to get started, and you’re almost done as soon as you get interested. But overall it’s pretty good👍🏻

I had fun on the tour but I wouldn’t recommend because a one day ebike hire on Rottnest island is $70 and this is $130. The ebike will allow you to see the best sights on the entire island whilst this is just a 90 minute tour

The guide was really patient during the training and the entire tour. I would highly recommend this activity in Rottnest as the island has no private vehicles.

It’s fun and easy to control, but it’s a bit of a starter, and it’s much better to play with the left. Be sure to book 90 minutes, because the teaching is about 20-30 minutes left.

Great fun to explore Rottnest Island on an off-road X2 Segway - our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and kept our spirits up despite us having visited Rottnest Island on one of the worst days possible, with rain pouring down in 70 km/h winds!
