Sake Tasting Class with a Sake Professional in Tokyo

Joe was an amazing sake teacher. He was very knowledgeable about sale and the process of creating sake. By the end we were all a little sake buzzed with a total of 10ish tastings and it was so fun!!

We booked for 10/18, and Hawaii Joe was a great host. Super knowledgeable and helped us with a ton of questions that we can take home for our future Sake purchases. Great pairings and great time!

Great experience! I now know more thanks to Tadashi, our host and Sake master. We had a very pleasant time comparing the different flavors with two other people. We were a small group of 5 and it was perfect. I highly recommend eating a little before coming!! Thanks again Tadashi 😊

A fun afternoon - I knew absolutely nothing about Sake when we began this activity and I certainly had a greater appreciation for the subtleties of it afterwards. Our teacher was extremely knowledgeable and, as well as explaining how the provided snacks paired with the tastings, it was an experience I would highly recommend.

An awesome crash course in all things sake. Hawaii Joe covers a lot of territory (and sake!) in two hours, but while jampacked with info the session was laidback and casual. We got lucky with a top-shelf tasting group which only added to the fun. Good to do early in uour trip as it has certainly set us up for the rest of our sake-drinking adventures (his tips alone are worth the peice of admission). Kanpai!

We really enjoyed this class with Andrea and learned a few things about Sake- the process it takes to produce it, different types of Sake and how to classify them and some funny facts about it! I personally really enjoyed the vastly different flavors of the different Sake we tasted. I can only recommend this activity, it was a lot of fun :)

Joe's knowledge of sake is exceptional. After attending his sake tasting class I have a deeper appreciation and understanding of how to enjoy sake. His jokes were funny too!

Tadashi was GREAT. Informative and fun. highly recommend taking this class at the beginning of your trip to Japan so you can be prepared to order sales that you like.
