Very easy to use. At Futian Terminal, foreigners don't have to go to the gate with a person. At the boarding gate, they can scan their passport, and it works without any issues. I didn't try to do that at other terminals and cities because those gates don't have a passport reader, so you have to speak with a person. But at Futian, you can.
