Excellent location. Decent sized rooms for Japan standards. One negative was that the room was smelly and stuffy and felt like you could smell the previous occupants. It needed serious ventilation and airing out. Overall, a great stay. Daily housekeeping isn't automatic so one has to ensure you put the sign on if you need it.

great hotel. will stay here next time for sure. room size and vibe was great. one laundry unit and split gender onsen. staff was nice and great walking distance from everything; stations, shopping, food, bars. go to rub a dub bar.

Such a great stay! Right next to a train station and such an easy route from Kyoto station. Walkable to great food and coffee, shopping, and beautiful temples. Room was huge with bathtub, closet to hang clothes with drawers, and table to sit and work. Super clean. Stoked!

I would give 100/5!!! Like the best hotel from my previous trip! The staff is vvv helpful, it’s near the Kamo river so we decided to rent a bicycle and it was the most memorable experience for us.. the public bath is very clean 👌🏻

Had a fantastic stay with solaria nishitetsu hotel! Awesome location , fantastic staff , always helpful . Rooms are really modern and new , breakfast choice can be more . Will definitely be back to stay again.
