The hotel was great and central to Kyoto. There was quite a few bus stops close by so we never had to wait long. One thing I will note is that the hotel only has two elevators so it can be quite the wait when we are trying to go down or up. The staff was super helpful in getting our luggage from one place to the next. The breakfast is located on the first floor and is a buffet style, with different things in rotation each day. It wasn’t amazing but got the job done. If you do want breakfast, definitely go during the recommended times when it is not busy. The rooms were a little bigger than normal Japanese hotels.

Hotel was right next to a grocery store which I highly recommend you go to instead of family mart or 711. It was a lot cheaper compared to the two. Plenty of food in walking distance, but some further places required the bus. All the staff were extremely helpful. Didn’t have any issues about any cleanliness. Did not have a gym or any unique facilities. Altough, they did have a coffee/tea machine with some great matcha tea.

Really great hotel located very neatly in the center of a lot of Kyoto tourist spots. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great and buffet style (additional points for the Vegetable Croquettes which were delicious). Note that the ACs mode is set to what the staff deems it. Meaning if you like it chilly even in winter and the AC is set to Heat, you are better off turning it off.

Nice and comfortable hotel to stay in Kyoto. It has a convenient location with 2 supermarkets next to the hotel, and close to the bus stop and train station. Easy to get around for sightseeing. Hotel has high quality free coffee and mocha tea too. Highly recommended.
