Basically we were satisfied with everything, including the location, standard and service of the hotel except one thing. On the last day of our stay, we chose to have the buffet breakfast at the hotel but we were very disappointed with the service offered by a waitress. When I asked her to take away the tray on my table, she asked me to wait but she was busy at nothing, not serving other customers. Then I asked her again a bit later. She just walked away ignoring me. This made me very angry. She was totally unprofessional. I couldn’t believe this kind of service was offered by a 5-star hotel ！ I won’t recommend this restaurant to my friends.

One of the biggest pluses is its amazing location. The hotel is basically right above/inside Kyoto Station, which makes transport, sightseeing, and taking long-distance trains or buses super convenient.

The hotel is part of the station and thankfully there’s big signs to follow as soon as you get off the shin. For how close it is to the trains, we didn’t hear the trains running early morning nor late at night. Coming home for the night, you have a great view of the Kyoto Tower.

location was superb, multiple entrances connecting jr Kyoto station. staff was helpful, extensive team 24/7, dedicated tourist counter for queries and directions. sent luggages forward to next destination and the staff came up to collect luggage, measure and collect payment. would definitely stay again!

Wow! Wow! Wow! The best hotel I’ve stay in my whole life! Felt like a queen since I’ve done the first step into this property. Absolutely stunning hotel with best ever location! The rooms are spacious, the view of Kyoto city by the window breathtaking. Staff professional manners- everyone start from reception to housekeeping. Cleanliness first class too! Highly recommend and would like only this one for my next stay in the city. Won’t look anywhere else!
