You get what you pay at the Makati Shangri-la... excellent and friendly staff, excellent location and nicely decorated rooms. Although many features of the hotel/room look and feels dated, it still feel luxurious. Lobby looks amazing!

Honest review. Room is old and chipped and deserved a much needed upgrade. You can get the same much nicer room in Manila Hotel in a much cheaper price. Food is so-so and is over the top expensive for its quality. Breakfast buffet is great but staff are very confused and very slow. During breakfast I saw a few people complaining about the breakfast egg requested that didn't get served and my own fruit shakes took them 4 follow up to get it right.
