DO NOT RECOMMEND! We had a scary time here and the owner was not helpful and disrespectful. Nobody was on site when we arrived. Owner claims this is because it is a “guesthouse” and not a hotel. So you get a long list of steps to follow to gain entry which is fine. One step is taking the elevator. This is a very small metal elevator that you can see out of. It barely fit 2 slim women with small bags. You need to open 2 doors into the tiny space and then the exterior door has a latch. We got to the 3rd floor and the latch would not open. We tried everything we could think of including trying to use cell to contact someone and that did not work. Both myself and my daughter were panicking. We were able to go down 1 floor and exit and haul bags up the stairs. I contacted the owner and he said “the elevator is in perfect working order” and repeatedly told me it’s a guesthouse and not to expect hotel services.
The room was tiny, beds were cots with about 2” thick mattress and hard as a rock. Toilet had a surprise inside and we soon realized that is because it doesn’t flush properly. Sink doesn’t drain well. AC did work well which was the only saving grace. For all the issues they only offered us to save the city tax fee and that was it blaming Expedia. I told him I would leave a bad review and then he apologized for everything and told me it would be his first bad review in 19 years. Check other reviews before booking!

We traveled with a car, so the discounted parking garage was a very short walk from our room and very convenient. Our room was very clean and spacious enough for the three of us. The best part for us was the wonderful breakfast we received each morning. It was perfect for getting us going the three days we could take advantage of it. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

This charming B&B sits right on the cusp of Trastevere — one of Rome's most vibrant neighborhoods, packed with incredible restaurants, bars, and shops. It's also within easy walking distance of a train station on a main street, making it ideal for exploring the city.
One of the first things you'll notice is the stunning antique wrought iron elevator — one of the coolest I've ever seen — and a genuine lifesaver when you're hauling luggage up.
The room itself is spacious and beautifully decorated with a mural of a famous Roman landmark. There's a comfortable sofa area with a TV, a decent-sized bathroom, and a shower with great water pressure. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well.
The hosts are the real standout — responsive, warm, and genuinely accommodating. They'll store your bags for free if you arrive early, which is a huge plus.
The only caveat: there's no outdoor space or balcony, so if that's important to you, look elsewhere. But if you're spending your days touring Rome and just need a clean, comfortable, well-located base to come back to, this is an excellent choice!

While we only were there for our final night in Italy, the check-in process was extremely smooth and accommodating as we had to leave early the following morning. Great location if you are interested in being nearby the popular and buzzing Trastevere area of Rome. Would love to come again and actually stay more than one quick night!

Good The suites are basically a few rooms located in a very old building that has offices and apts, However very reasonable and fine for a night or two in Rome at a very reasonable rate.
