Had such a nice stay in this hotel from the facilities, to the staff, to the ambience of the hotel. This was one of the nicest hotels we stayed in, in Japan. the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful with retrieving our luggage that we had sent there prior to our arrival. The rooms provided anything and everything you could think of down to hairbrushes and razors. Would highly recommend this hotel to stay in while you’re in Kyoto

Western amenities with a traditional feel. The staff spoke English. Helped with our tour questions and the breakfast was nice.
