Fantastic 5.0
1st time to stay in Panda Hotel. We stayed here with my family. The location is very convenient for family with kids and baby. There’s a mall on the lower floors, which have grocery, department store, retail stores, 711 and restaurants. There’s also a bus stop on the ground floor, going to the from the airport, HZMD, Tung Chung, Disneyland and more. Train station is more or less 10 mins walk away, we only ride the train once since riding a bus is more convenient. Our rooms were clean and very cozy. But was no bidet. There’s also microwave in our room and ref, a free downtown shuttle bus going to Mongkok and TST, you just need to book your reservation. The staff were helpful too, the most accommodating is the shuttle bus driver, it was rare to see the others smile, only the driver smiled to us, with made our day. Over all, we enjoyed our stay. Meals here are cheaper than those is TST, Mongkok or Central area. Meals in restos here are way cheaper than in Mongkok, TST and Central.

Fantastic 5.0
As a Hong Konger, my last stay at a Disney hotel was four years ago, at the classic Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel. This time, for my birthday, I decided to try the Hollywood Hotel, and the result was a pleasant surprise! First, there's a shuttle bus from Disneyland Station that takes about 10-15 minutes to reach the hotel, which is very convenient. The hotel also offers a shuttle service every 30 minutes starting from 12:30 PM, making it easy to plan your day and even visit other hotels for guest-exclusive activities (like crafts, painting, etc.). The hotel seems to have been renovated; I initially thought it might feel a bit dated, but after experiencing it, I found it to be very clean and bright overall. There are Disney decorations everywhere, and Disney cartoons play in the lobby, which was delightful and kept the kids entertained for a long time! The room wasn't huge, but it was full of Disney charm and even prettier than in the pictures! Having visited Disneyland in California, this hotel gives you a very American-style experience, making it feel like a vacation even when you're in Hong Kong. The breakfast was also excellent, especially the Chinese dim sum, which was fantastic. Chef Donald was even there for photos throughout the morning, so breakfast is definitely worth trying!

Fantastic 5.0
An extraordinary space with an open pool and gardens, plenty of activities, and of course character greetings — it was truly satisfying. The guest room was spacious enough, equipped with a water purifier, and very comfortable. Since toothbrushes and similar items are not included in the free amenities, I recommend bringing your own.

Fantastic 5.0
I booked Rambler Oasis Hotel for my kids, who arrived past midnight, so I reserved the prior night to make sure they had a room ready. I made the bookings separately for each day since I wanted to treat each stay as a different experience. I’m grateful to the Guest Services Manager for the swift responses to my emails and for coordinating their late arrival. The room I chose was the basic one, so I didn’t expect much given the price. It was compact, but since my boys only needed a place to sleep, it worked fine. For guests who plan to spend more time relaxing in the room, I’d suggest booking a bigger room for comfort. Personally, I prefer more space to walk around and a larger bathroom, but I can’t complain considering the rate. The view was of the harbor, which is nice, though unfortunately the spot assigned had ongoing construction, so my kids didn’t appreciate it as much. Overall, the stay served its purpose — convenient, coordinated, and practical for their trip.

Fantastic 5.0
The room arranged this time was a bit smaller than the previous one, but it was quite comfortable and had a smart TV where we could watch YouTube. The only downside was that the room was a bit damp; the towels were already slightly wet before we even used them, so we needed staff to replace them. There are also various restaurants within a 10-minute walk!

Exceptional Stay from Start to Finish! Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of perfection. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. Every single team member we encountered was remarkably friendly, accommodating, and eager to ensure our comfort. Their exceptional service truly set this experience apart. The room was immaculate—spotlessly clean, beautifully arranged, and incredibly comfortable. It provided the ultimate relaxing environment after a long day of exploring. Every detail throughout the property was well-maintained, creating a welcoming and high-end atmosphere. Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. The combination of wonderful people, top-tier service, and pristine facilities made our visit unforgettable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will certainly be back again soon. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a truly outstanding stay!

More about Hong Kong hotels

What staying in Hong Kong feels like

Staying in Hong Kong ranges from very affordable to distinctly upscale: the top tier runs around four times the bottom tier, so there’s a wide spread to match different budgets. The best balance between cost and comfort typically sits in the premium tier, which is where many travellers find good value for their money.

How the hotel classes compare and who they suit

Economy options sit well below the city’s median and suit budget-conscious travellers who prioritise price over extras. Standard rooms step up a bit from economy and are a sensible choice for travellers wanting simple, reliable comfort without a big price hike. The premium tier represents the sweet spot for many visitors — noticeably pricier than standard but offering a clearer upgrade in quality, and this is where the biggest value decision point lies before moving into the most expensive bracket. Luxury properties are the largest jump up from premium and suit travellers who want a markedly higher-end stay and are willing to pay a premium for it.

When travellers from the Philippines typically book

For travellers from the Philippines, the priciest month for nightly rates is December, while the cheapest month is June, and the low-season period around June suits budget-led trips. Rooms here are most often booked about a month in advance (around 32 days), so if you have fixed dates it’s common to lock in a room several weeks ahead; flexibility is still possible, but advance booking becomes more common in December.
