Things to do in Da Nang

The staff were professional, gave clear instructions, and ensured everyone felt comfortable before starting. The course had just the right level of thrill with some small rapids. Everything was also well-organised—we arrived early around 9am and even had time for a quick zipline before rafting, with no unnecessary waiting. The surrounding scenery added nicely to the overall experience. That said, the main highlight here is definitely the rafting—there isn’t much else to do. We did bump into rocks a few times and even got stuck briefly, but it was all part of the fun and still felt safe. The equipment looked clean and well-maintained. There’s also a staff member who helps take photos, which you can purchase for about 5,000 VND each and receive via email. Overall, it’s a great activity if you’re looking for something adventurous to do in Da Nang. Just note that getting a Grab from the area can be quite difficult—I was lucky to find a driver nearby.

Our group traveled in a medium-sized bus, with a total of 15 people. The tour guide was very professional and spoke English fluently. When we arrived at Ba Na Hills, everyone collectively purchased a Wow Pass. The guide, being very familiar with the area, led us through shortcuts, so we didn't have to wait in line anywhere. After taking the cable car to the main park area, the guide gave us three hours of free time before we had to prepare to head back down the mountain. Honestly, for such a large park, three hours, including time for a meal, is truly not enough. Coming all this way, it felt a bit disappointing. The premium all-you-can-eat buffet included in this package is highly not recommended. Its price is actually around $350 to $400 NTD, so you shouldn't expect high quality. The restaurant is very large and extremely crowded, and it seemed that most of the patrons were Vietnamese. We saw many people wearing flip-flops or putting their feet directly on the chairs, and children were running around making noise. The overall dining atmosphere was not very pleasant. I suggest not buying this buffet; the food quality is poor, and eating there wastes valuable time. Save your money, grab some light snacks within the park, and gain more time to explore the various exhibits and attractions instead.

will definitely come back! ba na hills is one of the places that makes you ask "how the heck did they make all this or how the heck did they move all this stuff" my family and i were in awe the whole time. the staff are friendly and approachable and tries their best to communicate with us and the other visitors even if some of them have a hard time speaking or understanding english. the place is well kept. the wow pass saved us a lot of time! the international buffet was worth it!

Alpine Coaster at Ba Na Hills was one of the most exciting parts of my visit. The ride was fun and gave an incredible adrenaline rush while still feeling safe and well-controlled. The controls were easy to use, so you can adjust your speed depending on how adventurous you want to be, but o though it was controlled and we had only the break that could be done manually. We did all 3 rides. I would definitely recommend trying the Alpine Coaster if you enjoy adventure and scenic rides.

The international lunch buffet at four seasons restaurant was so delicious, Thank you BaNa Hills we really had so much fun and planned to go back again soon. Riding a cable car for 20 mins was quite nervous yet so memorable. 🫶

We had such a wonderful experience on the cruise. From the moment we arrived, the staff were very warm, accommodating, and attentive to our needs. Traveling with my elderly parents, safety and comfort were very important to us, and the whole crew made us feel well taken care of throughout the trip. The activities, scenery, and overall atmosphere made the tour truly unforgettable. Everything was well-organized, relaxing, and enjoyable for all ages. My parents especially appreciated how kind and patient the staff were, which made them feel safe and comfortable the entire time. This is definitely an experience worth trying at least once. The beautiful views, great service, and peaceful cruise made it one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommended for families, especially those traveling with seniors.

Everything was great!! We booked a 90-mins full body massage, and we was impressed by the moment we arrived at the spa. The building is well-designed and beautifully decorated inside and out, giving the nature and calming vibe. The staff was very polite and friendly, clearly guiding us through the process. The place is nice and clean too. Tranh BK was my therapist and she was very good! I’m from Thailand and I have chronic back & shoulders pain, so my expectations for massage is very high, but Tranh could meet my expectations. After the massage, I feel relief, relaxed, and satisfied. They also have complimentary drinks & snacks both before and after the massage, and they’re very well presented. It is actually crucial that the insurance is already included in the package. The river cruise was pleasant and the night view is great. We have witnessed how the Dragon Bridge blasted water, although sadly, there was no fire due to technical difficulties. The dance performance is also a delight, plus the water and fruits.

We booked the “Absorb the fresh air with mud bath” package on Klook and redemption was easy. We combined it with Hoa Phu Thanh Tourist Area rafting in the morning and arrived around 12:30pm, with plenty of time to explore. The park is larger than it looks and spread across a hillside, so shuttle buggies are needed to get around. The hot springs are decent but don’t feel fully naturally heated. We came mainly for the mud bath and jacuzzi, which was the highlight. First a 5–10 min warm jacuzzi, then a semi-private stone mud tub. No strict time limit, but we stayed ~30 mins before it got boring and the mud cooled. Rinsing off is messy. Food is affordable (fries ~30k VND, drinks ~25k VND). Toilets and showers were clean with basic amenities provided. Lockers use a bracelet system—staff assign it and you tap to open, which is convenient. Downsides: communal slippers felt worn and not very clean. Location is remote, and getting a Grab back is difficult, so arrange transport in advance.
