Having the JR Pass was very convenient; I was able to visit many cities. I was lucky enough to catch the Omagari Fireworks Festival, which made the whole trip amazing. The only downside was that the bus to Oku-irase Stream wasn't included.

Located inside JR Hakodate Station, the rooms are directly above the train tracks. The morning market is a 5-minute walk away, and you can clearly see the Mount Hakodate ropeway at night! There's a coin laundry available, and I would definitely stay here again!

If you're looking for a hot spring hotel with dinner and breakfast included, this is a good option. The dinner is better than the breakfast. It's quite far from Hakodate Station, so I recommend taking a taxi or driving.

A must-do itinerary when visiting Hakodate. However, even with this ticket, you still need to queue up to exchange it on-site, which can be time-consuming when it's crowded. I hope there will be an option for QR code entry in the future to reduce queuing time.

Great value for the price! This trip was from Sendai to Sapporo, and it even covered the Sapporo to New Chitose Airport rapid train.
