Such an amazing experience and honestly my personal highlight of our Japan trip. Make a reservation in advance as they get quite busy, but everyone was very efficient and kind. I wish I had asked for everyone's names so I could thank them individually. They have a beautiful selection of women and men's kimonos - the act of choosing one was so much fun, I definitely think it's worth it to upgrade to the lace kimonos and accessories if you can. For the gals, they gave you several choices for a lovely hairstyle-- and they did such a good job on me and my sisters, and the hairstyles held up all day! They even offer you super cute accessories that include bags, parasols and even a katana to keep some of your belongings while you go and about in your kimonos. Highly recommend booking a photographer. We had Steven, who spoke English, and made the experience so special. He took us to a beautiful temple and gave great direction and fun ideas for the photos! 10/10 would do again!

It was a fantastic experience even though this exhibit is more interactive and more suitable for kids. The previous one I went teamLab Borderless in Tokyo was more surreal. Its a distance from Kyoto station. Take note.

Participated in the Amanohashidate and Ine Boathouse one-day tour on November 4th. The tour guide, Ember, provided detailed explanations that helped us better understand the itinerary. At the stops, she arranged for a rest area stop for everyone to use the restroom, and she also provided reminders when there were stairs to go up and down. I recommend today's attentive female tour guide, Ember.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely mesmerizing experience! Booking through Klook was super smooth — I got the e-ticket right away and just had to scan the QR code at the entrance. Everything was organized and on time. The whole teamLab BioVertex experience was breathtaking! Every room had its own unique atmosphere filled with lights, mirrors, and sounds that made you feel like you were walking inside a living artwork. The transitions between rooms were seamless, and it was so immersive that time really flew by. My favorite part was how the lights and reflections seemed to move with you — it’s unlike any museum or exhibit I’ve ever been to. Overall, it’s a magical experience that stimulates all your senses. Whether you’re an art lover, a photographer, or just looking for something unforgettable to do in Kyoto, teamLab BioVertex is a must-visit! Definitely worth the ticket price.
