Start at the JR Supporo meeting point, then travel to Asahiyama Zoo (catch the penguin walk, of course). Spend half the morning, including lunch. Tour includes tickets. After that, travel to Shirahige Waterfall (take photos 20 minutes) and travel to the Seven Star Tree (take photos 10 minutes). And the last stop is Ningle terrance. The price for a 1 day tour is around 21xx per person. Personally, I think it's worth it because each place is far away. a lot And the weather is very cold, reducing the search and getting 4 places in 1 day.

Escape the Sapporo chill with Klook's winter day trip, offering a blend of wildlife encounters and snow-dusted landscapes. Asahiyama Zoo's "Penguin Walk" takes center stage, alongside captivating exhibits of polar bears and seals. You'll also witness the ethereal Shirogane Blue Pond, its blue waters contrasting beautifully with the snowy surroundings (depending on ice conditions), and the Ken and Mary Tree, standing starkly against the winter sky. Be mindful that winter conditions can impact the schedule, so flexibility is key, and remember to bundle up for the Hokkaido cold!

Asahiyama Zoo is huge as compared to other winter zoos I visited. The time allotted for this trip is just sufficient. The problem is that a hefty number of animals were not put in their cages for the public to see.
Shirahige Falls was mind-blowing! <3 This is my fav part of this itinerary, so I kinda felt like 20 mins wasn't enough.
Biei Pond was just so-so. I wasn't amused nor hated it. It was just frozen all over with a blue led light hitting the pond. I'm curious as to why we had to spend 10 more minutes in here than in the falls.
One thing I didn't like was that we were situated at the back of the bus. The view was obstructed (we weren't able to enjoy the mountain views during the bus ride), & we technically had lesser time to spend in visiting the places. It was also my fault for misunderstanding that we won't be dropped off to where we were picked-up, so we had to walk for 1km to our hotel during a snowfall.
Lastly, a few things to note:
- Iwamizawa Service Area was full of filthy trash! I do hope they address this as it's something I didn't expect from Japan.
- The tour guide can't speak English but tried his best to communicate.

I highly appreciate and would like to thank Habi for her engaging and sincere guide for the busy tour. She guided with 3 languages with simutaneous translations one after each other, making sure everyone is engaged. She also offered to take photos for everyone at each spot. In one case where one group of participant got lost, she guided them back to the bus and even apologized for them. Its a pleasure to be in this tour.

There was a heavy snowfall during the trip. But, we arrived safely and on time. The driver was really a good and cool driver despite the almost zero visibility road. The tour guide can speak Japanese, Chinese and English ( even a bit) The instructions were clear especially on the time needed to return. Everything was smooth and was on time, even the drop off.

Rita was an amazing tour guide. she was very knowledgeable and helpful before, during, and after the trip. thorough instruction given for meeting place prior to leaving. I definitely suggest arriving early as it does get busy in the meet up area. the tour itself was pleasant and enjoyable, well worth booking through Klook instead of adventuring off by ourselves. our particular day the road closed prior to heading up to the zoo but opened up before we got to the closure area. Rita was concerned for everyone’s safety and was looking out for everyone. it’s a full day and don’t plan for anything else that day except to grab din din after. we left at 0800 and due to slick roads we returned at 1910. I recommend attending this tour.

It was a good experience overall especially when you don't drive in hokkaido. The guide spoke mostly Japanese and had some simple English phrases. it was great that everyone came and departed on time, making it a seamless experience.
