Things to do in Ayutthaya Elephant Palace & Royal Kraal

We enjoyed the tour and really appreciate our guide/driver despite a bit of language barrier. He is nice and very much helpful. He made sure we were safe and ok during the tour. Nice experience including the interaction with elephant at a cafe! Thanks P’Toy!

I was extremely pleased with this tour from start to finish. The itinerary and the sites were phenomenal and truly a must see for anyone coming to Thailand. Our guide Aoy is the one who really made it even better with amazing knowledge of every place we went to and the history and explanation for everything. I learned so much from Aoy I felt I received so much value out of it. Even beyond the sites, Aoy gave such good information and advice to everyone about all aspects of Thailand relevant for a tourist from food, customs, getting around, etc. The bus driver was also extremely friendly and professional. I highly recommend this activity.

They’re so accommodating. The driver and the tour guide are very very nice and since I’m going there solo, they were so nice to take my photos and even suggested where and how to pose. 🥺🫰

I participated alone, but I had a great time, partly because the other Japanese participants were so friendly! Most of all, Tea was incredibly kind, and her explanations were detailed and easy to understand. She must be very experienced, as I was delighted to have so many wonderful photos taken! The lunch buffet was even more delicious than I imagined, and I ate too much! It was the best!⭐︎

The tour was excellent! The guide's explanations were easy to understand, and I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the history. The driver was also very polite and always smiling, a truly wonderful person.

Our group of 8 Japanese tourists had a hotel pickup between 6:30 and 7:00 AM. We then went directly to the tour company's meeting point for a restroom break, with no transfers needed. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. Our guide, Ken, who is of Chinese descent, spoke excellent Japanese and was very chatty. We thoroughly enjoyed our sightseeing. He also took photos for us. None of our group members requested the elephant option this time. The lunch venue was air-conditioned, and although the buffet had limited variety, the food was delicious. I highly recommend the souvenir shop here; it has many cute items that are cheaper and easier to browse than in Bangkok. Despite the heat, we were able to visit everything efficiently, which was great. One bottle of water was provided as a complimentary service.

Vanida was a lovely guide 🥰 Throughout the journey, she patiently explained about the history and significance of each location in both English and Chinese. She also shared useful tips along the way to ensure that we get the best out of the experience. 100% would recommend going on her tours - you will be in safe hands 🥰

I participated alone as a woman and had a great time! Depending on the area, they pick you up at the hotel, which made transportation easy. The tour efficiently covered the main sights with explanations, which was just right. The ruins were magnificent, and learning about their historical background was incredible. I didn't expect much from lunch, but it was delicious! There's an option to ride an elephant midway through the tour; you can do so for an additional fee. They also provided frequent restroom breaks and informed us which ones were free and which required payment, which was very helpful. Since it doesn't take up the whole day, you can go wherever you like in the evening. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to quickly see Ayutthaya. As a heads-up, it's extremely hot with almost no shade, so a parasol is essential. One bottle of water is provided, but it's not enough, so it's best to bring your own. I got a headache from the heat, but salt tablets saved me.
