Hotels near Komuroyama Park

I was notified in advance that Laforet Ito Onsen Yunoniwa was going through a hotel wide inspection and unable to accommodate my family of 4 during the dates I reserved. Hotel staff went over and beyond making reservations @ an upgraded 5 star onsen hotel with upgraded room. I was always in contact w/staff of what’s going on. Two staff members even came to Ito Station to transport us to Komeya Hotel, our new accommodations. Hopefully one day we can make it back to stay @ Laforet Ito Onsen Yunoniwa.

Our group of 9 stayed in 3 rooms at the ryokan and we had a great time. the staff were all very nice and accommodating, and the onsen was amazing. would recommend to visit if you're in Japan.

It's a bit of a walk from the station, about 15 minutes if you walk fast and 20 minutes if you walk slowly. Along the way, you'll pass a supermarket and a 7-Eleven where you can stock up. This place offers great value for money, with affordable prices and breakfast included. The large hot spring bath is open 24 hours, and it's mostly Japanese guests staying here, so the environment is quiet.

Our stay at Village Izu Kogen was in one of the best room types we've ever experienced. The room layout was similar to a small apartment, featuring a living room, dining area, kitchen (with a microwave), and a Japanese-style space, which was incredibly convenient for a family trip. We had direct ocean views from the room, offering a very pleasant vista. The hotel has separate hot springs for men and women. We happened to visit during cherry blossom season, and soaking in the hot spring under the cherry trees was truly relaxing and enjoyable. The front desk staff were very friendly, which enhanced our overall service experience. We drove there, and there was ample parking very close to the entrance, making it very convenient. The only minor drawback was that if you wanted to cook in the room, kitchen utensils needed to be rented separately, which was a bit inconvenient. However, the hotel also has self-service laundry facilities, which is a great plus for longer stays. Overall, it's highly recommended for families or long-term travelers.

The hotel room is renovated; the materials are new; the area is very large; in addition to the hot springs, there is an indoor swimming pool, which is heated; the buffet breakfast and dinner are rich; especially the all-you-can-eat sashimi is plentiful and fresh; the family wants to stay again next time!
