Hotels near Hakodate Ropeway

Hotel was super convenient to the Morning Market and Hakodate train station. Also convenient to many restaurants, buses, and trams. Room was very clean and newly renovated. Staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Highly recommend this hotel!

Located inside JR Hakodate Station, the rooms are directly above the train tracks. The morning market is a 5-minute walk away, and you can clearly see the Mount Hakodate ropeway at night! There's a coin laundry available, and I would definitely stay here again!

If you're looking for a hot spring hotel with dinner and breakfast included, this is a good option. The dinner is better than the breakfast. It's quite far from Hakodate Station, so I recommend taking a taxi or driving.

Have stayed many times before in this hotel as it is close to JR station and morning market. It is clean, room equipped with washing machine and microwave is great.

The room is reasonably sized, with two 1.2-meter double beds and a long sofa by the window. You can see the sea from the side of the window, and a distant view of Mount Hakodate directly in front. It's a convenient 5-minute walk to the morning market and an 8-9 minute walk to the JR station. The hotel also offers a selection of different pillows, but be quick, they start distributing them from 3 PM and are gone once they run out. I didn't get one on the first day. The standard pillows in the room are too soft. Overall, it's a convenient hotel with good service.

I finished my trip to Otaru and checked in around 7 PM after taking the JR Limited Express Hokuto train. Next time, I'll have to come earlier to enjoy this great hotel more. What I particularly liked was the great view from the room, and after checking out, I rented an electric bicycle, which was perfect for exploring the Hakodate area. Next time, I'll fly from Incheon to Hakodate again.

About a 15-minute walk from JR Hakodate Station. The indoor onsen isn't very well ventilated, and it seems like seawater is mixed in, so it stings if you have small cuts. The breakfast has a great variety and is delicious.

The room is quite large, and the Simmons bed is very comfortable. The two pillows come in three types (down, straw, and memory foam). The bathtub is large enough for an adult to stretch their legs. It's just 100 meters to the Hakodate Morning Market, making it convenient to get to any point of interest. The breakfast is excellent (the sweet shrimp is delicious, and the desserts are also great).
