Restaurants in Yau Ma Tei

I've been to Tsui Yuen at New Town Plaza in Sha Tin twice recently for dim sum. The dim sum is usually quite good, so I bought a coupon when I saw a Klook offer. I arrived around 10:30 AM on June 6th, and the staff were very nice. Even though I was early, they quickly seated me. However, the dim sum that day was very disappointing. The fried items weren't hot enough; they seemed like they had been sitting for a while. The skin was dry and soft, not crispy. The har gow (shrimp dumplings) and siu mai (pork dumplings) were even worse. They tasted like frozen, pre-made dim sum bought from a supermarket. The siu mai also had a very strong MSG flavor. I wondered if the dim sum for Klook customers was pre-made. I asked a server, who said the kitchen doesn't differentiate between Klook customers and regular diners. But it was very strange; the dim sum that day didn't taste like what I usually have there. Despite this, the restaurant staff were very polite.

v impressed with the service level and restaurant deco (a rustic swiss chalet). food and drink were generally good - especially the fondue, raclette, chocolate mousse and tea. will visit again.

Honestly, I don't quite understand why I had to buy three ice cream vouchers to order tickets for Andy Hui's concert. Andy Hui isn't an endorser for this ice cream brand, and I also don't believe I'll be allowed to eat ice cream inside the Hong Kong Coliseum. But I do like this brand of ice cream, so it's no big deal. I'm sure I'll be able to use all the ice cream vouchers, and the method for redeeming them seems very easy.

This was my first time dining at Yeung Yuet Lau. I really wanted a window seat to enjoy the full view, but since it was full, the staff seated us against the wall, which was still great. My personal favorite was the BBQ pork and jellyfish; the BBQ pork was incredibly delicious, perfectly balanced between lean and fatty, tender yet with a good texture—just like the old days 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. The crispy shrimp balls with imperial sauce were appetizing, and the almond tea with egg white was delightfully sweet and smooth. Definitely worth trying.

This time, I mainly bought the Big Bang package tickets to enter Alibi to enjoy the food. Basically, the dishes in the set were quite good. The environment and atmosphere were very comfortable, and the waitstaff were friendly. The salad bar allows for unlimited refills, and the main courses tasted great, although there were only two options to choose from, so we ordered both. The pasta was delicious, though the portion of the smoked duck taco was a bit small. Drinks included a choice of tea or coffee, plus a complimentary alcoholic beverage, though you could choose to skip the alcohol. We tried both drinks and they were pretty good; the alcoholic one didn't have too much alcohol content. Overall, it was a great experience.

We book early we able to get a window set, it was amazing view and comfortable..The food was great.It was fun experience eating lunch buffet with my friends here..The service is excellent. They are polite. It's rare to find such attentiveness these days, except in a very expensive restaurants.

Klook VIP: Use a $200 voucher with a $40 discount, paying $165 to get a $250 voucher. We went to the Causeway Bay branch to eat, and it was super crowded! We ordered Set A for two people: two bowls of 'Sai Yung' noodles, dumplings, blanched vegetables, and fried wontons, plus a Coke. The total was $255, so we only saved $5. 😌 I highly recommend the 'Sai Yung' noodles with fried wontons; the noodles are perfectly springy. It's the best in Hong Kong! 🤤 It's worth the price. 😃

I would surely go again and would recommend to others as well. good quality food and portions were good as well. thank you Klook and will be going back soon.

This was my first time enjoying this set meal, and I was very pleasantly surprised. The food quality was high, and the portions were generous. The set meal for five was more than enough, and the food was delicious. The staff were enthusiastic and polite. The restaurant is very large, with an antique and elegant decor, and it's very quiet. The tables are well-separated, providing plenty of private space. The price is very reasonable. I would definitely recommend it to friends, and I will consider dining here again myself.
