We participated in the afternoon Hanoi half day city private tour in December 2025. We enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it.
Well planned itinerary, with good coverage and comfortable pace. Pickup / drop-off at hotel is very convenient. Suitable for anyone including elderly.
Our local guide was a cheerful, enthusiastic lady, April. She was great, very fluent in english, professional, knowledgeable and informative. We learned a lot from her. It was a great experience overall. Thank you April.
The van was spacious for three. Also, Stella from Crossing Vietnam Travel was very accomodating and agreed to swap coffee in old quarter to coffee in train street.
Highly recommended!

Great experience! Our tour guide Kien was very informative and entertaining. Water was provided which is good since only a few establishments had free drinking water. The bus was comfortable and secure. We were able to leave our valuables in the bus/van while going through the tour.

I booked a motorcycle city tour. Ethan was my designated city guide tour/driver. It was a relaxed phase, not rushed and not too overwhelming. I like the chill and authentic vibe that you learn and get to try as you go along the tour. Probably my most favorite part was the train history, the information was just right, not overly fed with a lot of information that you wouldn’t be able to remember at the end of your trip. Also, Ethan seemed that he likes what he is doing, he is very in touch with culture and reality at the same time. Thank you, Ethan!

Thank you so much to Mr Son for being so adept in the whole duration of the tour. He is very organized and friendly and make sure that the tourists were comfy throughout the trip. I really love immersing myself in the culture of the city I visit in and this tour is perfect if you have the same in mind. I would highly recommend this tour if you guys want to explore and know about the beautiful Ha Noi

This was an amazing tour. Wearing a Ao Dai (Vietnam's national dress)and sitting at the back of the Motorbike was awaresome. Shout out to our guide "Walter" he was a fantastic tour guide. Walter showed me alot of sities and history of each place we visited and lots of photos taken. Some of the sights we visited were Saint Joseph cathedral, Hanoi house cafe, Ceramic Road, west Lake, tran quoc pagoda, mausoleum, Hanoi train street. I highly recommend booking this tour it was a fantastic experience 😀

I participated in a one-day sightseeing tour of Hanoi (Japanese). The guide was Mr. Tho, who speaks Japanese (apparently known as Mr. Kotobuki in Japanese). In the morning, I learned about the history of Hanoi while visiting major tourist attractions, which was very educational. For lunch, we had pho from a Michelin-starred restaurant. The restaurant was very crowded, but the guide used his quick thinking and ordered takeout while we were drinking tea at a nearby friend's cafe. We were able to enjoy the pho slowly and without waiting at the cafe. After that, we had a foot massage, shopping at the supermarket, a stop at the market, a cyclo tour of the old town, and ate egg coffee and che. In the evening, we saw the water puppet show, and he got us great seats right in the center. It was worth seeing. Dinner was bun cha. Our guide, Mr. Tho, was very thoughtful and had a perfect sense of timing for the tour. During the tour, he gave us little tidbits of information, such as where to find delicious sticky rice and about the night market. After dinner, I declined the ride back to the hotel and strolled through the night market on my way back. It was a jam-packed tour from morning to night. There were breaks, so I didn't get tired. It was very good, but the foot massage shop included in the tour was not good. They were unfriendly, lacked customer service, and the room was untidy and looked like a storage room. I was charged a tip of 100,000 VND firmly. I would have preferred to pay a little more and be taken to a slightly better massage shop. There are other good massage shops for the same price. This tour is efficient and cost-effective, and I highly recommend it. It was fun and I was very satisfied.

This trip is packed with sightseeing! The guide is attentive and explains the historical details of Vietnam and its various locations and important figures, giving you insight into the culture and how Vietnam came to be in the present day. We also got to eat Vietnamese food, which is usually only known for Nam Neung and Pho, but there are other delicious dishes as well. I recommend that if you take the full-day tour, you should be well-rested because each place you visit takes a long time and involves a lot of walking, which may cause some leg pain.
