Ubud Cultural experiences

It was quite a drive to get there, but it was a pleasant one. We had a fun and informative experience making traditional Balinese food, accompanied by friendly small talk in a welcoming atmosphere. We went to the market, where we learned a lot about unfamiliar fruits we'd never seen before. It was especially interesting to taste snake fruit, which has different flavors depending on its size. We had to prepare nine dishes, so there was quite a lot to do. It was enjoyable to chop, stir-fry, and handle the ingredients while listening to explanations, making the whole process far from boring. Highly recommended!

First time trying out the activity and we both loved it. The staff were very patient and friendly and gave clear instructions and guidance on how to make the couple rings we designed. It was interesting to learn how there were so many steps involved in a simple jewelry. Overall a fun and interesting experience which we highly recommend.

We booked the 8:00 AM morning session, and a driver picked us up from the hotel. In the morning, we walked through a local market, which was a wonderful experience. Upon arriving at the kitchen, we were welcomed with a welcome drink, and then we started the cooking class. The cooking class was a lot of fun, filled with happiness and laughter. We got to eat the food we cooked ourselves, and it was delicious. All the staff had a great sense of humor and had fun along with us.

For 80 yuan, you can have breakfast and do yoga. What more could you ask for? I feel the yoga instructor isn't as professional as those in China, but the environment is excellent. If you're staying here long-term, this is a great option. I recommend buying a package deal; a similar meal in Ubud would cost 40 yuan anyway.

I participated in an incense-making workshop for the first time. The location is very convenient, close to a tourist attraction! It was so much fun to make my own organic, handmade incense with my favorite scent! Even children can do it, so next time I'd like my daughter to join. I'm really looking forward to using the incense once it dries! The staff were all very friendly and kind, making it a wonderful experience! Everyone visiting Ubud should definitely try it! Thank you!

The location is quite secluded, perfect for a peaceful experience. The instructor was patient in their explanations! The session was a bit long; it would be even better if we could choose the fabric size for the design! There are good and affordable meal options here! The only drawback is the lack of air conditioning.

We had a great experience visiting Lempuyang Temple, Tirta Gangga, and Goa Raja Waterfall. Mr. Krisna did a great job as our tour guide. He was helpful, accommodating, and made the trip enjoyable. We appreciate his effort in guiding us throughout the tour and helping us explore these beautiful places in Bali. Thank you, Mr. Krisna, for your excellent service and for making our trip memorable! Highly recommended!

I am so glad I got a chance to still experience the workshop even I am late on sched time. The instructors are very informative and fun! I can definitely can recommend this to friends and everyone!

We joined the market visit at 8am, interesting to see themlocal traditional markets and some of their ingredients. Back at the hotel, our cooking class was held in a sheltered place, but with padi field all around and good breeze. Chef Budi and assistant Monika took good care of us. We cooked a Balinese sauce/seasoning to stir fry some minced chicken to make a salad. The same sauce was used to season fish for steaming, wrapped in banana leaves. It was grilled to give extra flavour. Rest of the minced chicken was seasoned before putting them on sticks to grill over coconut shell charcoal. For dessert we made oandan thin pancakes with gula melaka/coconut as fillings. Overall excellent experience and enjoyed the cooking class and dining what we prepared. Strongly recommend.
