Chengdu Food tours

We had a wonderful experience at Hong Ding Yan! As we couldn’t eat beef n spicy food, the staff thoughtfully arranged pork and tomato soup as alternatives, which we really appreciated. The performances were enjoyable and added to the overall experience. The only slight disappointment was that there was no 川剧变脸 (Sichuan face-changing performance). Overall, it was a lovely dining experience, and we truly appreciated their attentive service!

Loved this experience! It was easy to redeem the voucher. Just go and tell them your name and seat number. When we showed our QR code they didn’t know what it was. Our luncheon tickets came with costume change and we just paid extra for the hair to look the part perfectly. They had multiple costumes to choose from and lots of different colors. All the food that was served was delicious and a great value for money! Free flowing tea and plum wine too. The presentations were all really great and you had enough time to eat between each course. They also had interactive sessions, so if you can understand mandarin you can definitely join. Sadly we couldn’t 🥲There was also a photographer in house for an extra fee. Overall I definitely recommend booking this!

Fuss free booking. Will recommend to try at least once. Good food and entertainment. Located in a shopping area that was refurbished from a factory(?). Can shop before or after the event and a big shopping centre nearby.

The performance was absolutely wonderful, a mythical story. They even added costumes on the spot, and there were assistants to help with dressing. The host was fantastic at creating a lively atmosphere; even though there weren't many people that day, he was very professional. The dishes were small portions, perfect for enjoying the ambiance, and quite delicious too.

experience:nice try experience:overall is good, can see show and eat food location:take didi from chengdu

we really enjoyed the tea, snacks, vibe and of course the performance. the acots were very dedicated, there were English subtitles on the screen for us to read.

Experience: Full marks. In addition to the delicious food, there is also a Sichuan Opera face-changing performance to enjoy. Facilities: The bowls, chopsticks, and pots are clean, the condiments are plentiful, the performers' costumes are exquisite, and their skills are top-notch, truly breathtaking! Location: Easily accessible by bus from Kuanzhai Alley or by subway; very convenient. Please use AutoNavi Maps.
