DMZ zone

DMZ Korea (Demilitarized Zone) is one of the most fascinating and tense borders in the world. Stretching 250 km across the Korean Peninsula and measuring 4 km wide, it separates South Korea and North Korea along the Military Demarcation Line (MDL). Established after the Korean War Armistice Agreement in 1953, this heavily fortified border remains a symbol of both division and hope for a unified Korea. Despite its military significance, the DMZ has also become an unlikely buffer zone for wildlife, home to rare and endangered animals such as the red-crowned crane and Amur leopard. Today, travelers can take an official tour to the DMZ from Seoul and witness firsthand the history, military tension, and unique natural environment of this region. Ironically, the absence of human settlement has turned the DMZ into a natural sanctuary. This buffer zone is home to hundreds of bird species and rare endangered animals, making it one of the most unique ecological preserves on the Korean Peninsula.

Fantastic 5.0
First time skiing! After meeting in the morning, we took a tour bus to the ski clothing rental shop. The itinerary included ski jackets, ski pants, and ski boots, but protective gear still needs to be rented separately. For safety, the tour guide recommended renting as much as possible for insurance. My friend and I rented knee pads, helmets, and gloves (bought our own). Socks and face masks were also available for rent, so I recommend bringing about 100,000 Korean won in cash (per person). After arriving at the ski resort, we were divided into two groups (two boards/one board) to pick up equipment and receive instruction. First time skiing... of course you have to learn by falling! XD Then we learned the basics of how to ski and brake, but we needed to go to other Chuncheon attractions in the middle of our trip with friends, so we basically didn't have much time to ski. Thanks to the tour guide and customer service, after we begged, they let us continue skiing for a while after we came back, otherwise we would have really felt bad. As for Gu Bong Cafe Street, it's a beautiful place with scenery. I think it's a place where you can take a temporary break and see the scenery when you're tired of driving. And about skiing, I'm really bad. I kept falling and even though I braked, I kept sliding sideways, which made me feel scared. After trying many times, I simply took snow photos first haha. Overall it was still very fun and a cool experience!! But be prepared for your body to be super sore the next day, so don't put it on the first day of your trip! 😂 Finally, thank you to the tour guide, instructors, and customer service staff for their care.

Ruby & Roy were very nice & lively. They were also very particular with safety. The trip itself was good too. It's our first time to go skiing, and though it was hard, we still had fun. Worth the penny 🙂

Exchanging the ticket was such a smooth process. Everyone had fun in Snowyland with their adult and kiddie snow rides. All rides were safely inspected. Even our senior parents had blast on the Snow Tornado. It was worth the 2 hour trip we took from Seoul.

Good experience but however I feel it can be quite overwhelming with many different groups coming together at the same time. Can be better with better organizing in the whole process.

Fantastic 5.0
I recently joined the Elysian Gangchon Winter Ski / Eobi Ice Valley Day Tour from Seoul and had a fantastic time. The day was well-organized, making it easy to enjoy both the journey and skiing. Ski suit rental and basic class really stood out for me during the trip. Overall, I’d give this tour 5 Stars. And highly recommended for beginners.
