Things to do in Cebu City

We had a great time at Cebu Ocean Park! The staff were very helpful and accommodating throughout our visit. My son absolutely loved seeing all the animals there — it was such a fun and memorable experience for him. One suggestion for future visitors: don’t rush while viewing the attractions. Time flies so fast that you’ll be surprised you’re already at the end of your walk through the Ocean Park. Highly recommended for families!

Dusit Thani’s design is so beautiful and we had a very relaxing time. All staff are pleasant to interact with, their amenities are nice, we also enjoyed Sunset Bar’s food and drinks. We initially wanted to dine in Benjarong however, Klook’s dining credits can’t be used on their resto anymore. It slightly disappointed us but it still worked out well and we still found value for money based on our experience. Towels and lockers are free to use. There’s shower gel and shampoo in the shower. We tried their ice cream which costs 280 and it tastes good! For transpo, we were told that Grab drivers don’t usually accept because their location is secluded. They offer to call taxi for you or their hotel car which costs higher. Overall, we really enjoyed our time and it’s easily one of our most favorite moments in Cebu.

The driver was polite and was on time to pick us up. He was very patient with us. The swimming with the whale shark was a bit chaotic because we didn’t really know what was going on. But it was worth it when we saw the whale shark. we just wished it was longer than 30 minutes and less people in a group. I find that it was overcrowded (10 people per boat). I was expecting there will be just the 2 of us since we paid for group of 2 but we ended up sharing the boat with other tourists. As for the canyoneering, we had the best time. our tourist guides, Jimuel and Ay(not sure how to spell his name) were really funny and made sure we experienced a lot of things. they also took a lot of photos and videos. It was exhausting but was definitely one of the best tours I’ve had.

Absolutely loved the canyoneering experience! Loved our guides, Zack and Ken who were funny and patient with us making sure we are safe throughout! There is an optional gopro rental and they will help us to take make pictures and videos along the way for just 800php! There is also zipline for 600php as well! Highly reccommend!

Go to the club house to check in, then head to the swimming pool to get towels and locker key. They need your physical passport or ID but I didn’t have it with me so I put peso $500 as a deposit. I got it back when I returned the locker key. The staff are very friendly ahd helpful. The sunset is gorgeous and dinner buffet by the sea is amazing.

The tour was a great way to explore Cebu’s historical sites, and we truly enjoyed the experience. Alvin was punctual, friendly, and efficient throughout the trip. I would definitely recommend this tour to future travelers who want to visit Cebu’s historic landmarks.

The 3-island hopping tour was a fantastic experience overall. The activities were well organized, and Daina made sure everyone felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout the trip. The hotel pick-up was smooth and punctual, which set a positive tone for the day. The boat provided, Magfox Grand, exceeded expectations. It was spacious, clean, and large enough to allow guests to enjoy privacy and relax without feeling crowded. One slight discomfort was when local vendors boarded the boat to sell drinks and shellfish at noticeably high prices, which somewhat disrupted the otherwise relaxing atmosphere. Lunch was served onboard and included rice, meat, and prawns. The flavors were good and enjoyable, but the rice and meat were served cold. Serving the meal warm would have made the experience even better and easily a perfect five-star trip. Overall, it was memorable and very well managed.

Highly recommended! ⭐ Sir Edmund is very professional and truly goes above and beyond. Although he was assigned as our driver, he also served as an excellent tour guide - sharing insights, helping us throughout the trip, and making sure we were comfortable at all times. Everyone at the tourist spots was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We genuinely enjoyed every activity! The photographers were also very dedicated—they really put effort into getting the best shots for us. Tip: Always bring extra cash for tipping to show appreciation for their great service. If you’re planning to visit, this experience is definitely worth it! 🌴✨
