You need to buy tickets about 14-15 days in advance to get a good time. I booked two separate days and times because I was hoping to do one at sunset and another at night. even though I went on the site immediately when tickets were available, all the sunset optiobs were sold out. I thought going 1.5 hours early would be okay since there was a bar upstairs. but the it was so crowded that we couldn’t find space to sit & it was far to hot (late August) to stay in tge roof until sunset. so we took our pics and left. the following night was much better. I booked a 1940 time slot was much better. It was cooler, they had a light show and the skyline was incredible!!!

I visited this Teamlab with my two daughters. They loved this place very much. In every sections, we could experience the different lighting effect. This Teamlab is really worth to visit. I was also very happy that the tickets could be bought from Klook so easy.

This place is absolutely amazing. the pictures are great, but don't do it justice for everything you experience inside. It really is breathtakingly spectacular. Well worth the money, well organised and a really unique experience.

Booking through Klook is incredibly convenient! You don't have to waste time waiting in line to buy tickets at the venue. Just present the QR code you received to the staff at the entrance for scanning, and you can exchange it for a ticket and go up to enjoy the view immediately. It's hassle-free, and you even get a better price than buying on-site. The views of Tokyo are beautiful and very impressive. If you're planning to visit Tokyo Skytree, I highly recommend booking in advance through Klook. It's definitely worth it and meets all expectations! The convenience of booking through Klook:

"The Studio Tour Tokyo was incredible and worth every yen! It’s the largest indoor Harry Potter attraction in the world, and it completely blew me away. Walking through the Great Hall, Diagon Alley, and the Tokyo-exclusive Ministry of Magic set felt like stepping right into the movies.

Great experience with klook as you fo not need to register on the puroland website beforehand. Simply show your klook voucher and you are good to go. We arrived 15min prior to opening as long queues even on a Friday can start well before opening time. The queue is daunting but we managed to enter smoothly, scanned the QR code for wifi from one of the ushers inside the complex and then booked the Meet and Greet character sessions without issue. Tip, take a screencap of your character session qrcode in case your connection died like mine did! Also the toilets by Fairytaleland are quite cool!

1. If you go at night, the background (the observatory wall behind the person taking the photo) will reflect a lot in the glass. It's best to find a position and angle where there's minimal reflection. 2. It's definitely prettier at night. Because of this, you might even have to wait in line at spots with the Tokyo Tower in the background. Be aware that some people might inconsiderately take photos for a long time in the same spot. 3. The entrance and exit are different, and you have to walk all the way around. The closer you get to the exit, the less you can see Tokyo Tower, but it's quieter and there are places to lean and take photos, so the atmosphere is better. (However, if you like night views, the scenery around Tokyo Tower is still better.) 4. How to enter: Find the Mori Tower Gallery and take the elevator to the 3rd floor -> Buy tickets at the 3rd-floor ticket office or present your pre-purchased ticket QR code -> Follow the instructions and take the elevator to the 52nd floor in order (scan your QR code to enter).

Super satisfied! Getting the movie collaboration '討伐棒' (subjugation stick), playing mini-games, and buying new merchandise was fantastic! 👍 Booking the Chiikawa Land experience through Klook this time was incredibly worthwhile! As soon as I entered, I received the highly anticipated movie collaboration limited edition '討伐棒,' which felt very high-quality in my hands. As a fan, I was truly touched! The photo zones on-site were also very well-designed. I finally got to take a picture with the movie characters Siren and Hachiware, and the scene was super cute, making for millions of points in photo quality! Besides taking photos, the experience of playing mini-games on-site was also great 👍, with plenty of interaction. The store also had a wide variety of new merchandise, making it easy to buy a lot 👍. Before I knew it, my shopping basket was full. The overall flow of the park was very smooth, and checking e-tickets was quick. I highly recommend it to all Chiikawa fans who want to collect the latest limited edition merchandise!

The Tokyo National Museum was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. The collections were fascinating, and it was incredible to see so many important pieces of Japanese history and culture in one place. The museum is much larger than I expected, and I would recommend setting aside at least five hours if you want to explore everything properly. There is so much to see, and every section offers something interesting and unique. One of my favorite parts was the beautiful garden area with traditional Japanese buildings. There was also a charming traditional café where we could relax with a coffee and cake while enjoying the surroundings. Being able to look inside some of the historic buildings made the experience even more special. I would highly recommend booking tickets in advance. There was a very long queue for visitors who had not pre-booked, and having tickets ready saved us a lot of time.

What to know before visiting Tokyo

Top experiences to try in Tokyo across the year

Tokyo’s top bookings are led by Observation decks and Museums, followed by Theme parks, Cultural experiences and Tours — a mix of skyline views, galleries and big-ticket family attractions. Demand dips through June to August and builds into a busy October–November rhythm, with November the peak month when Tokyo sees the most activity bookings.

Which activities suit families, couples and solo travellers

Families tend to pick Theme parks and hands-on Cultural experiences for kid-friendly thrills and memorable shared moments. Couples often favour Observation decks and Museums for sweeping city views and quieter cultural afternoons. Solo travellers and small groups will find Tours and smaller Cultural experiences a flexible way to explore neighbourhoods and local traditions at their own pace.

What travellers from the Philippines should book ahead

Travellers from the Philippines generally enjoy some flexibility in Tokyo: many activities can be picked up a day or two before, though the earliest planners often secure bookings around two weeks ahead. Booking in advance matters most in peak months like November, when demand is noticeably higher and popular slots fill earlier.

How the categories compare on price and who they suit

Observation decks are the easiest entry point and sit at the lower end of typical price bands, making them a budget-friendly way to take in the city. Museums and Cultural experiences sit in the mid-range, appealing to visitors after culture and context without the top-tier price. Theme parks mark the priciest standard category here, skewing toward families and groups prepared for higher ticket levels, while Tours offer the widest spread of prices and options — from low-cost group tours to premium private experiences — suiting almost any traveller style.
