Fantastic 5.0
we booked for 2days consecutive park entry and we had the chance to enjoy so much of the perks. my family enjoyed very much. 2Days is really the best becuase you got to see in 2nd day whatever you missed in the first day. we got so lucky we find a good spot in front of the magical castle l was able to film the whole 20-minute momentous moment.

I'm so glad Hong Kong finally has this exhibition! It's divided into different zones introducing various unique or bizarre foods from around the world, and the best part is that you get to eat at the end! However, there were too many people going in at the same time, so you had to wait in line slowly to see everything. How annoying, a mother brought her kid inside and cut the line right at the beginning, claiming you don't always need to queue for exhibitions. Later on, I saw her having to wait in line at every single spot anyway. She really brought shame upon herself and the people of Hong Kong.

If you don’t want to line up for tickets going to The Peak, this is definitely the best option for you. The staff assisted me right away where to enter and scan my QR code to enter and wait for the Tram going up and the same goes when you leave. I had a great time exploring The Peak and would definitely go back with my family or friends there!

We went on a very sunny day, the weather was great. We took the Crystal Cabin. There were more sights on the right side – the airport, the big bridge... (Actually, you can see them more clearly from an airplane; the cable car isn't high enough). But on the left side, you can eventually see the Big Buddha and Po Lin Monastery. In the Crystal Cabin, it feels like you're standing on water and above the forest. I later realized that the Ngong Ping 360 advertisement features the panoramic cabin. I believe the panoramic cabin would give an even stronger 'person in the air' sensation. When we arrived, there were still decorations for the 20th anniversary, even though it had just ended. There's an Ngong Ping Bing Sutt (cafe) for photo opportunities. Inside the cabin, only the small windows open for ventilation, so it felt a bit stuffy. On the return trip, in a standard cabin, the sun hadn't set by 6:00 PM because it was summer, and clouds were covering the sun. I recommend allowing more time, 5 hours or more, if you want to visit the Big Buddha in addition to Po Lin Monastery. I didn't go up that day, not only because I didn't have enough time but also because it was too sunny; the weather only became overcast closer to 5 PM. I had been up before, so I didn't go again, but last time I took the bus only to the Big Buddha and didn't visit Po Lin Monastery.

Fantastic 5.0
I attended on both the first and second days. On the first day, because it was so crowded, I spent most of the time waiting in line. On the second day, there was hardly anyone there, and I didn't have to wait for anything at all 😂😂😂 It felt great—if I'd known, I wouldn't have bothered lining up for the card-pulling machine on the first day, as it was totally overloaded 😂😂😂 Even though there was a $50 admission fee, the laser Polaroid photo was gorgeous, and the gamblers just kept pulling cards 🤤

When we visited, Ocean Park had a Sanrio crossover event, so there were many Sanrio character decorations and even a Sanrio character exhibition, which was very novel. Ocean Park's animal conservation is excellent; there are many different animals like dolphins, otters, meerkats, pandas, and more. All of them are very energetic and lively. The dolphins even jump out of the water to play on their own, showing they are very well cared for. The staff were also very enthusiastic in sharing information about the animals with us! Afterwards, we had lunch at the Arctic Blast Restaurant, eating while watching the penguins, which was delightful! Perhaps the younger generation isn't as keen on thrill rides, as there weren't many people queuing for Ocean Park's rides. The longest wait was half an hour, and for some, there was no wait at all. However, the staff checked everything very thoroughly, making it feel very safe. I truly feel that Ocean Park represents Hong Kong's theme parks well; the shopping and snacks inside are also very reasonably priced!

I thoroughly enjoyed both the permanent collection and the special exhibitions. The ability to see contemporary Asian art is a major advantage. Currently, a solo exhibition by artist Lee Bul is underway. You can also see works by Korean artists such as Kimsooja and Nam June Paik. The views of the West Kowloon Cultural District and Victoria Harbour through the large glass windows are a highlight in themselves. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, which showed great attention to detail. There are food trucks nearby, so it would be a good idea to grab lunch or dinner after seeing the exhibition. (I also visited the adjacent Hong Kong Palace Museum and saw the Egyptian exhibition.)

it was great. The Ninja was good as well. While the small little arcade area the some kids don't take turns properly and take a long time to play but over all it was good experience.

What to know before visiting Hong Kong

Top experiences to try in Hong Kong throughout the year

Hong Kong’s busiest bookings are for Theme parks, followed by Events & shows and Observation decks, with demand peaking in November and dipping around July. Expect a rhythm where crowds and activity bookings swell into late autumn and are quieter in midsummer.

Best activities for families, couples and solo travellers

Families will find Theme parks and Playgrounds the most appealing for easy, all-ages fun and predictable experiences. Couples often gravitate to Events & shows and Observation decks for atmospheric evenings and skyline views. Solo travellers or small groups can pick up Museums and Observation decks for flexible, lower-cost visits that are simple to slot into a varied itinerary.

What travellers from the Philippines should book ahead

Most visitors from the Philippines keep plans flexible — many bookings are made within a few days of travel — but the earliest planners still reserve experiences around two weeks ahead. Booking ahead matters most in November, when demand is at its highest and popular Theme parks and shows are busiest.

How the categories compare on price and who they suit

Observation decks sit at the entry-level end and are the easiest way into Hong Kong’s attractions, appealing to budget-conscious travellers and those wanting quick skyline views. Museums and Playgrounds offer mid-range options that suit families and curious explorers. Theme parks are the priciest on average, geared toward families and visitors seeking big-ticket entertainment, while Events & shows have the widest range of prices and can suit anything from budget to premium tastes depending on the performance.
