Fantastic 5.0
I wholeheartedly recommend this 7-day, 6-night customized itinerary in Northeast China. The overall arrangement was impeccable, allowing for a relaxed pace without rushing through attractions. The itinerary perfectly balanced cultural and border landscapes with the natural wonders of Changbai Mountain, from the Puppet Manchukuo Palace and Changchun Film Studio in Changchun, to the tri-border area in Hunchun and the Korean ethnic charm of Yanji, and then to Tianchi Lake, forest stream trekking, and forest rafting. The route connections were seamless, accommodations were high-quality, and all tickets were included, saving us time and effort. Before the trip, we received thoughtful advice on clothing, mosquito repellent, and viewing Tianchi Lake, among other practical tips. There were no hidden costs throughout the trip, making for an absolutely fantastic experience! I especially want to commend the two incredibly reliable drivers: On the first day in Changchun, Mr. Yu Haibao provided all transfers. He arrived early to wait for us, and his car was clean, tidy, and odor-free. He drove smoothly and skillfully on city roads, was familiar with all the popular photo spots in Changchun, patiently explained the city's history along the way, and actively helped us with our luggage. He managed the itinerary pace perfectly, pre-planning parking spots at hotels and attractions. His gentle and meticulous demeanor left us with an excellent first impression of the trip. From the second day, departing from Hunchun, until the final day's drop-off at the station, Mr. Zhang Guolong accompanied us throughout, and he deserves the highest praise! His driving skills on long-distance mountain roads, border roads, and the winding roads of Changbai Mountain were superb; the ride was consistently smooth and bump-free, so we never had to worry about motion sickness. Mr. Zhang has been deeply rooted in the local area for many years and is very familiar with the road conditions, hidden scenic spots, and authentic Korean ethnic restaurants along the routes of Hunchun, Tumen, Yanji, and Changbai Mountain. He actively avoided congested areas. Before ascending Tianchi Lake, he reminded us to bring warm jackets, and during the Qifeng Valley stream trekking and ginseng digging, he thoughtfully reminded us of safety precautions. He was waiting punctually after our rafting trip. Every day, he prepared the vehicle in advance and actively helped with luggage. He was always cooperative with any minor itinerary adjustments, was generous and down-to-earth, and provided attentive care throughout, ensuring our journey was safe and smooth. The entire trip featured breathtaking scenery and attentive, thoughtful service. Both drivers were professional, responsible, enthusiastic, and warm-hearted. The itinerary planning was reasonable and comfortable, with no pitfalls whatsoever. It was a perfect trip to Northeast China, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit the region! 🌹

Fantastic 5.0
This was our first time travelling in Harbin, and we decided to book a tour to experience the trip to Snow Town. We understood that most tour guides speak Chinese, but we still booked the tour and were open to adjusting and seeing how the experience would be. On the day of the trip, we boarded the bus with our original tour guide, Li. However, we were transferred to another bus with a different guide, so we followed the arrangement. After a few hours of travel, we were asked to return to our original bus. Honestly, that turned out to be the best part of the day. Our tour guide Li was exceptional—she was very helpful, kind, and attentive to us. Even though there was a language barrier and a lot of translating, Li did her best to assist us and made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout the trip. We truly appreciate her effort and kindness. Li made our Snow Town experience much more enjoyable and memorable. Highly recommended!

The driver took great care of us, took us to the restroom, took us to eat, took us to mail postcards at the post office, took us to play in the snow, paid the ski deposit for us, and took pictures for us. He did everything! He was everything to us, absolutely excellent. He even woke us up in the morning. The coordination in the WeChat group was excellent and very responsive. attractions: transport options: very smooth trip tour guide: excellent itinerary: very good

Fantastic 5.0
During my trip to Harbin, I had the pleasure of meeting an excellent tour guide named An Li. His character and abilities made the entire journey much more enjoyable and smooth. First and foremost, he was incredibly polite, maintaining a pleasant demeanor with every fellow traveler and service staff member, which made interactions easy and enjoyable. Furthermore, he was always punctual, whether for scheduled meeting times or departures, which not only reduced anxiety about waiting but also ensured the trip ran smoothly. His driving skills were also exceptional, making our travel experience safe and pleasant. Each time we got on and off the vehicle, he proactively helped with our luggage, which I found very thoughtful. Lastly, he was able to share local history and culture, making our journey even richer and more interesting. Overall, An Li's performance was something I truly valued, and he added many wonderful memories to the entire trip.

The most magical experience by far! Guide was very helpful. People say you can’t do Yabuki skiing and and Snow Town in a day, but they made this possible.

I personally feel that the food served was not worth the money paid. The only expensive food item was the Buddha Jump Over the Wall. The flavour was also off as I could only taste ginger which was added to mask the fishy smell from the seafood. But it killed the umaemi flavour of the seafood. well, just for the performance and experience. plus they don't clear the empty plates from the table.

What to know before visiting Harbin

Harbin City at a glance: top things to do through the year

Harbin City’s biggest draw for travellers is its wide range of Tours, followed by Parks & gardens and Attraction passes; Tours dominate bookings and drive the city’s seasonal rhythm. Demand spikes in 1月 and again later in the year, while spring and mid-year months see much lower activity.

Which activities suit your travel style

Families will find Parks & gardens and Attraction passes easy wins — these categories tend to be straightforward, family-friendly and popular with groups. Couples often prefer the fuller Tours and Cultural experiences for a more curated, memorable time together. Solo travellers and small groups can pick from Outdoor & sports activities or lower-cost Attraction passes for flexible, budget-minded options.

What travellers from the Philippines tend to book ahead

Most visitors from the Philippines keep planning flexible: typical bookings cluster around a few days before travel, though the earliest planners still book roughly 12 days out. Booking ahead becomes especially worthwhile in the peak month of 1月, when demand is highest and availability tightens.

How the categories compare on price and who they suit

Outdoor & sports activities represent the easiest, lowest-cost entry point, while Tours sit at the priciest end and also show the widest range of prices — from budget to premium guided options. Parks & gardens and Cultural experiences sit nearer the mid-range, appealing to families and couples who want polished, accessible outings. Attraction passes offer lower-priced, flexible choices for people prioritising convenience and savings.
