    Daranak Falls is one of the most well-known waterfall attractions in Rizal. It sits on the foot of the Tanay mountains, which keeps the water flowing regardless of the season. In the summer time, it’s a popular destination amongst locals thanks to its refreshing waters. However, don’t disregard this waterfall attraction during the ‘ber’ months - the waters are deeper, however, still suitable for a cool dip.

    2. Batlag Falls (Tanay, Rizal)

    Right above Daranak Falls is Batlag Falls. Although it may be smaller compared to the former, the scenes are just as beautiful! You can take a ten-minute uphill hike from Daranak, or just drive there if you’re planning on waterfall hopping.

    3. Maranat Falls (Rodriguez, Rizal)

    Maranat Falls proves that two is definitely better than one. Arriving at the site of the twin-waterfalls is an adventure in itself - perfect for seasoned trekkers and adventurers alike! 
    However, getting to Maranat Falls is not an easy feat. Although exciting and all sorts of adventure, you will need to cross several rivers and endure a pretty rigorous hike - but it’ll all be worth it once you’re enchanted by breathtaking views of the Manila skyline from above!

    4. Atburan Falls Daraitan (Tanay, Rizal)

    Did you know that the sound of waterfalls can help reduce stress levels? Fortunately for you, Atburan Falls in Tanay, Rizal can offer just that. If you’re hoping for a quiet, meditative and rejuvenating experience, you need not look further. Nestled by Mt. Atburan, the trek up will bring you peaceful sounds of nature that grow exponentially calming as you reach the falls.

    Whether you’re a mountain biker or a weekend warrior, Kinabuan Falls in Tanay, Rizal will be quite the adventure. Though it is quite a hike up the falls (as it can be found at the end of the hiking trail), the scenes are unparalleled. Enhance your experience and be sure to bring along some food and snacks with you so you can enjoy a picnic near the water.

    6. Laiban Falls (Tanay, Rizal)

    Take a much deserved break and had on over to one of the most peaceful waterfalls in Rizal. Thanks to its underrated nature, Laiban Falls rarely sees a large volume of crowds, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. It also happens to be located near the summit, offering breathtaking sunrise or sunset views of the Sierra Madre
    To get to Laiban Falls, take a 5-minute habal-habal ride from Barangay Maysawa. From there, you can hike up to the falls!

    7. Hinulugang Taktak (Antipolo, Rizal)

    Hinulugang Taktak is not only a must-visit waterfall at Antipolo, it also has its own folk song! However unlike the song, the scenic falls are much more breathtaking to experience - especially with new attractions such as a public trail with hanging bridges, a rock-climbing and rappelled station!
