    Ready, set, bake!

Do you want to try baking but have no idea where to start? Bakebe Manila has got you covered. They believe anyone can be a baker with the right baking equipment, ingredients, and guided baking recipes for your custom-made treats!
From macaroons to cookies to mermaid cakes, this DIY baking studio in Metro Manila is a haven for dessert lovers. Here’s an idea of what you can expect when you spend a day at Bakebe in SM Aura Premier.

    1. A Modern Baking Experience

Bakebe prides itself on being Hong Kong’s first and only co-baking studio that teaches you how to bake using an app. They were founded in 2018 and were introduced in the Philippines in 2020. Beginners won’t have a problem navigating the kitchen because they’ll be guided every step of the way with a step-by-step video.

In case you do need help, fret not. Their friendly staff is available to assist you with your chosen baking recipe.

    2. Hassle-free Booking

Walk-ins are allowed to attend a class, but it’s preferred that you book online to guarantee a slot for your visit. Select your baking recipe of choice, number of bakers, and available schedule, and pay with credit or bank transfer. Plus, children are now welcome to the studio so you can tag them along for a day of baking and decorating.

    3. No Experience Required

When it comes to baking, most people are overwhelmed with the number of baking recipes to choose from and the investment required to purchase their own baking equipment. However, Bakebe has eliminated this hassle and made it possible for you to learn how to bake – no experience required. All that’s needed is for you to show up in the studio and be prepared to get mixing.

    4. Pick Your Pastry Of The Day

The “Vegan Oatmeal Cookies” and “Salted Egg Palmiel” are the easiest baking recipes on the menu, with prices starting at P799. But if you’re up for a challenge, you could put your baking skills to the test and select the “Baby on the Cloud” which is a fluffy sponge cake covered with pastel-colored icing for P2099, or the “Mermaid Atlantis Gem” which is a fruity cake topped with lychee cream for P2499.

Overall, there are around 30 different pastries to pick from with varying difficulty levels.

    5. Well-Equipped Workstation For Your Baking Project

Once you’ve confirmed your booking, you may proceed to your designated workstation and put on your apron. Sugar, spice, and everything nice can be found in the open pantry. You just need to set up your iPad and measure out all the ingredients required for your chosen baking recipe. Don’t forget to wash your hands and keep your counters clean.

    6. Decorate To Your Heart’s Desire

Following the baking recipes is so much easier when you have a foolproof app to guide you, right? But the fun doesn’t stop once you take your pastry out of the oven. Let it cool on the counter as you gather all your colorful décor and pipe your icing. Let your imagination run wild and decorate as creatively as possible or replicate their many designs.

    7. Pastel Pink Overload

It’s hard not to notice how pretty in pink this baking studio is. Pink interiors, pink baking equipment, and neon signs take up most of the space. We won’t judge you if you can’t help but take pictures in every corner of the place, especially in front of the full-length mirror or the Bakebe Angel feature wall. This pastel kitchen looks like it came straight out of a fairytale.

    8. Take Home Your Masterpiece

The best part about the Bakebe experience is getting to take home your masterpiece. Of course, you get to make your cake and eat it! Be proud of all your hard work and effort and share a slice with your loved one. If your pastry didn’t turn out how you wanted it to, don’t beat yourself up about it. You could always come back next time and try again.
