    IU and Jin-Goo’s Dramas, Films and Variety Show Appearances 

    In case you missed it, last month, Hotel Del Luna co-stars IU and Yeo Jin Goo got together for another on-screen appearance on Yeo Jin Goo’s variety show, House on Wheels. If you have yet to watch it, you can stream episodes 7 and 8 on Viu now to catch IU’s guest appearance. Here’s a quick preview of the ridiculously kilig moments on the show:
    While we can only hope that they get paired as an on-screen couple once again, we can check out their long bill of series and films to keep us sane.     1. My Mister

    My Mister follows the lives of Park Dong Hoon (Lee Sun Gyun) and Lee Ji An (IU). The lives of the two protagonists are far from easy, with each of them carrying their own load of burdens from struggling family members, a broken marriage and debt.

    2. The Producers

    Along with Kim Soo Hyun, Gong Hyo Jin, and Cha Tae Hyun, IU stars in The Producers, a Korean drama that depicts the hectic lives of the employees of a public TV station. IU takes on the role of Cindy, a Korean idol who falls for a rookie producer-director.

    3. Real (cameo)

    Real is a Korean film starring Kim Soo Hyun. He plays Jae Tae-Young, a man with multiple personalities who finds himself in trouble in the criminal world. IU makes a cameo in the film, appearing in an awarding ceremony.

    4. Men on a Mission

    Men on a Mission is a variety show featuring four Korean comedians who play high school students in a classroom set up. In every episode, they welcome a guest star as their ‘star transfer student’ and IU makes a visit for episode 150.

    1. House on Wheels

    Alongside Sung Dong-il and Kim Hee-Won, Yeo Jin-Goo hosts House on Wheels, a variety show on tvN. The three actors travel across South Korea in a tiny wheeled house and invite celebrity friends to join them for a night or two. 
    On episodes 7 and 8, Hotel Del Luna co-stars IU and P.O (Block B) made a guest appearance. Other notable Korean celebrities who have appeared in the show include Lee Hye-ri, Lee Sung-Kyung and Gong Hyo-Jin. 

    2. Warriors of the Dawn

    Yeo Jin Goo stars as Crown Prince Gwanghae in Warriors of the Dawn. The film is set in the late 1950s, where the young Crown Prince is tasked to take the place of King as the leader in a war between Korea and Japan.

    3. My Absolute Boyfriend

    In My Absolute Boyfriend, Yeo Jin Goo takes on the role of Young-Goo, Eom Da-Da’s (Bang Min-Ah) perfect boyfriend - who also happens to be a robot. Due to an unlucky strike with love, she has closed off her heart to love. But what happens when she gets entangled in a love triangle between a robot and a famous actor?

    4. Crowned Clown

    Due to a power struggle in the Kingdom of Joseon involving the King Lee hun (Yeo Jin Goo), he gets a clown named Ha Sun (Yeo Jin Goo), to act as King after he flees to avoid assasination. While the clown tricks the court to believe his act, he begins to fall for the Queen (Lee Se-Young).

    5. Reunited Worlds

    Reunited Worlds follows the mysterious story of Hae-Sung, played by Yeo Jin-Goo. On his birthday one summer, he gets into a tragic accident and passes away, leaving his family and girlfriend, Jung-Won (Lee Yeon-hee) devastated. Fast forward 12 years later, Hae-Sung mysteriously wakes up at the rooftop of his old school and is alive.

    6. Circle: Two Worlds Connected

    Circle: Two Worlds Connected is tvN’s first sci-fi drama, and it stars Yeo Jin-Goo and Kim Wang-Woo. The series takes place in two parallels - one in 2017 and the other in 2037 and it follows the story of an extraterrestrial being getting involved with humans.

    7. The Royal Gambler

    Yeo Jin Goo stars as King Yeongjo in The Royal Gambler alongside Jang Keun-Suk who plays Baek Dae-Gil, a prince who has been forced to live like a commoner. Dae-Gil also happens to be the best gambler in town, so when the King enters into a match with him and bets the entire Joseon kingdom, who would you place your bets on?

    8. Orange Marmalade

    Orange Marmalade is a fantasy drama following the life of Jae Min (Yeo Jin Goo) as he falls in love with a transfer student named Baek Ma-Ri (Seol Yun). What he doesn't know is that she is actually a vampire.

    9. The Moon Embracing the Sun

    Another historical drama to add to Yeo Jin Goo’s roster of dramas, the Moon Embracing the Sun follows the tragic love story of King Lee Hwon (Kim Soo Hyun) and his queen, Heo Yeon-Woo (Ha Gar-In). 
    Yeo Jin-Goo played the younger role of Kim Soo Hyun’s character in this drama, acting alongside a number of child actors who grew up to become prominent figures in the television and film industry including Kim So Hyun and Kim You-Jung.
