Following a string of violent uprisings and a power struggle in the Kingdom of Joseon, King Lee Hun (Yeo Jin Goo) gets a clown, Ha Sun (Yeo Jin Goo), who looks identical to him to act as king in order to avoid assasination. But while Ha Sun tricks the court to believe that he is king, he starts falling for Queen Yoo So-Woon (Lee Se-Young).
