Enjoy a wonderful time away with your kids!

There is more than one way to have fun on every beach vacation. The days spent planning, packing, and likely traveling long distances are best spent with family, especially with your kids. This is the perfect time to create lasting memories that kids can look back on warmly even when they become grownups. But, if you've had enough of the same old beach vacations, you may book a flight to Thailand. The best place to go there? Definitely in Phuket!
Hailed as the largest and most visited island in Thailand, Phuket beach has become a popular vacation spot for tourists from all corners of the world. Here, you can go scuba diving or snorkel off on one of the 30 beaches or feast on some of the best Thai food you’ve ever tasted. Not to mention their bustling shopping areas as a major draw.
So take a look at all these fun things to enjoy on the island with your kids!

    1. Tree Tops Elephant Reserve

Elephants have a significant cultural role in Thailand as they portray elephants as holy animals due to their religion's emphasis on its special symbolism in Buddhism. This has led to the rise in popularity of an elephant sanctuary in Phuket island, where elephants that have been used in the forestry industry, as well as those who have served rides and acted in performances for tourists, are rescued and retired from their laborious lives.

The sanctuary was an initial leader in the field of ethical elephant tourism, providing tourists with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get a deeper understanding of, and appreciation for elephants. As for your kids, seeing so many elephants may be a rare encounter, but best believe seeing this iconic animal will be a core memory for them!

If you want to experience a more traditional, old-fashioned side of Thailand, you’d probably not miss heading to this small village in Phuket. The Phuket beaches here are worth visiting as well as the interesting culture and tradition of sea gypsies. With its scant woodlands, evergreen forests, mangrove forests, wildlife, and marine life, the national park is a breathtaking and informative environment where your kids could learn about plants and animals found in Thailand.
