You’ve just binge-watched Money Heist - now, what?

If you’ve already finished all four seasons of Money Heist on Netflix, we’re sure you’re currently experiencing withdrawals, looking for the next best thing to watch. To get you through the next couple of months as we all wait for Season 5 of Money Heist, we’re compiled a list of crime series that are just equally as good! Check them out.

    1. Ozark

Accountant Marty Byrde’s life turns upside down when he gets pulled into the world of drugs doing the books for a Mexican drug lord. When things go south with this client, he moves to Missouri Ozarks with his wife who eventually became his partner-in-crime as they launder money for the cartel. Byrde’s skills in navigating himself through the criminal underworld will remind you of that of the Professor and the gang in Money Heist.

    2. Prison Break

If you loved the cat and mouse game the Professor and Inspector Murillo played in Money Heist Season 1 then you should check out this series. That storyline is similar to the chase between Prison Break’s Michael Scofield and Inspector Mahone. This show tells the story of Scofield as he tries to break into prison in order to rescue his innocent brother who was sentenced to death row.

    3. Breaking Bad

The series is about a high school teacher, Walter White, who, upon being diagnosed with lung cancer, ends up selling meth to help secure his family’s future. Like Money Heist’s Professor, White keeps his real identity for as long as he can for protection.

    4. Dirty Money

While Money Heist tackles government corruption through a fictional veil, this six-part Netflix documentary series tells real accounts of corruption, fraud, and scandal in the business industry. Each episode focuses on a different angle in corporate corruption, including interviews from key individuals in each story.

    5. Bodyguard

This political thriller is about David Budd, a war veteran suffering from PTSD who is now working as a Specialist Protection Officer tasked to protect the British home secretary Julia Montague. Similar to Money Heist, the series tackles controversies around the government and private information regulation.

    6. High Seas

This Spanish mystery series is set aboard a luxury ship traveling from Spain to Brazil in the 1940s. It follows the story of two sisters, Eva and Carolina Villanueva, as they uncover the mysterious deaths that occur on the ship. The suspense will keep you at the edge of your seats, unable to resist binging the entire series - just like how Money Heist leaves its audience!

    7. The Blacklist

Raymond “Ray” Reddington, one of the world’s most-wanted fugitives surrenders himself to the FBI, offering his help to hunt down deadly criminals. However, he has one condition: he will only work with the new recruit, Elizabeth Keen. While we see what goes on behind-the-scenes of a crime in Money Heist, The Blacklist will give audiences a look into what happens on the investigative side of things to capture criminals.

    8. Peaky Blinders

Set in 1918 after the first World War, Peaky Blinders follows the story of a gangster family who call themselves the Peaky Blinders, led by Tommy Shelby. They wreak havoc on the streets of Birmingham, England, getting involved in robberies and gambling to seek power. Similar to the Money Heist gang, watching the dynamic characters of Peaky Blinders in action will be addictive.

    9. Locked Up (Visa A Vis)

Macarena Ferreiro finds herself locked up in jail when she was set up by her lover to take the blame for a corporate fraud. There, she has to find her way to survive the 7-year sentence while being surrounded by ruthless criminals. The show depicts issues in law enforcement similar to those portrayed in Money Heist. You’ll also see Alba Flores (Nairobi) play a different role here as well!

    10. Elite

Another Spanish crime series, Elite puts the spotlight on the students of an elite academy when a classmate of theirs is murdered on campus. Switching between two timelines, viewers will be left wondering who the culprit is until the last episode of the first season.
This series is perfect for Money Heist fans who are looking for a a slice of teen drama for a change. Plus, you’ll see a couple familiar faces from Money Heist here as well!
