    Taiwan is best experienced with family! If you’re taking your entire fam to explore Taiwan soon, then be sure to do so before 31 July 2020 for visa-free access. There's a bunch to see, do and eat in Taiwan - and the experience is twice as good with family. However, group travels can be quite heavy on your bank account, so check out some of our budget-friendly options and activities for a fun, but cost-efficient, time in Taiwan!

    HOW TO GET TO TAIWAN

    There are multiple airlines that offer flights from Manila to Taipei on a day-to-day basis. For budget options, Cebu Pacific and AirAsia usually hold seat sales, so be sure to watch out for their next sale to book your quick getaway to Taiwan!
    As of 2 July 2019, Philippine passport holders do not need a visa to travel to Taiwan until 31 July 2020.

    BEFORE YOU GO

    One way to save big on this Taiwan trip is to purchase a Taipei Unlimited Fun Pass. Passholders get free admission to over 30 attractions in and around Taipei, but you get unlimited access to public transportation as well.
    Make sure the entire family stays connected throughout your Taiwan adventure! That said, be sure to pick up a 4G WiFi device for the family to make travelling around the city much easier.

Don’t worry too much about going early; night markets in Taipei are open until the wee hours of the morning.     Day 2: Yehliu Geopark + Ximending Market

This Northern Taiwan seaside location is home to some of the country’s most iconic sights - specifically the naturally-carved stone structures you’ve probably seen all throughout social media.

    Since you're in Taichung, why not check out the districts' own night markets? Discover new street food, delicacies, and even new flavours of milk tea. Feng Chia Night Market is the most popular market in Taichung, and a couple minutes through the maze of stalls will make you realize why.

    Day 4: Elephant Mountain Hike

    On your final day, convince the family to do one last bonding activity. The hike up to Elephant Mountain is perfect for first-time hikers, and is better done in the morning. Apart from the glorious sunrise, you'll feast your eyes on one of the best skyline views of the city.
