Bali is a great place to have a vacation on a budget!

Would you love to visit Bali, Indonesia but don’t want to break the bank? You might be surprised that you can have an amazing vacation with just Php30,000 as your budget!
Explore the stunning beaches, go surfing, eat fresh seafood, immerse yourself in the Hindu culture, and have an inexpensive massage–these are just some of the leisurely activities you can do while visiting the island of Bali.
Thankfully, the Indonesian borders have opened to foreign visitors again, so you can start planning your next trip. But before you start daydreaming about how you’ll spend your R&R time, there are a couple of things you need to prepare for like visas, vaccination cards, and accommodations.
Here’s your guide to enjoying a Balinese vacay with Php30,000 in your pocket.

    1. Prepare the following documents

All foreign travelers must provide proof of complete vaccination (two doses or a booster), a valid visa such as the Visa on Arrival or the B211 Tourism Visit Visa, and travel insurance for COVID-related emergencies. Of course, you should also have a passport that’s at least 6 months valid for you to be able to start your vacation.

    2. Book your flight and accommodation well in advance

It’s considered the end of the peak season, which means flights and accommodation are less expensive, compared to the months in the middle of the year. Budget airlines have deals for as low as P11,000 for roundtrip tickets, while you can book hostels for P500 per night or villas for as low as P1,500 per night.
