Pocheon & Seasonal Hot Attractions One Day Tour from Seoul

I joined the Pocheon & Seasonal Hot Attractions One-Day Tour from Seoul and had a fun trip. The booking process was smooth and hassle-free, making everything easy from the start. Our guide, Roger, took us to Jingwansa Temple, a traditional Hanok Village, Bidulginangpokpo Waterfall, the Y-Shaped Suspension Bridge, and Herb Island. Each attraction had its own unique charm, and the itinerary offered a great mix of nature, culture and scenic views. Roger spoke clear English, which made it easy for everyone to follow along. He was friendly, organised and shared informative facts and stories about each location, making the journey even more engaging. His time management was spot on, giving us enough time to explore while ensuring we stayed on schedule and managed to visit every attraction. Overall, it was a fun, organised and enjoyable trip. The itinerary had a nice balance of cultural sites, natural scenery and leisure time, making it a great way to explore Pocheon in a single day :)

Our guide (Michael) was great and very funny. He speaks multiple languages (English, Mandarin, Japanese and probably other languages as well). He offered to take pictures of us at every spot which was very nice. He also showed us vegetarian options at a restaurant. I would recommend this tour. The lake is absolutely stunning and it was fun to experience strawberry picking in Korea.

Highly recommend this day tour! Our tour guides, Cindy and Roger, were exceptionally attentive, and professional throughout the trip. They went above and beyond by helping us take photos at every scenic spot. At one point, when it started raining, they kindly lent us their only umbrella and ended up getting drenched themselves. Eunpyeong Hanok Village was a lovely stop, with beautiful traditional Korean houses. The Ginseng Museum was tourist-oriented, but there was no hard selling, we did not to purchase any ginseng products. After about a 90-minute drive, we arrived in Pocheon. Although Bidulginang Falls did not have falls during our visit, the surrounding scenery was beautiful, with fresh mountain air. The Y Suspension Bridge was definitely a must-visit attraction for anyone joining this tour. Our final stop was Herb Island. We didn't realize beforehand that the famous pink trees were artificial, but with the pink sand, made for some fantastic Instagram-worthy photos.

Our guide Michael was amazing throughout the trip, he was so accomodating to everyone's needs and keep everyone entertained with his knowlegeable facts and jokes! He brought us to an amazing place for lunch with delicious food at a very affordable price. The pajeon was crispy and packed with ingredients, and the bibimbap was to die for. If you ever get Michael as your guide, i'm sure you'll be generously hosted! The itinerary also made great use of the time and we had enough time for all the photo spots and scenic walks. we even had time to rent the paddle boat for the lake and pick strawberries!

Overall, the experience was pleasant, and the strawberry picking session was both fun and engaging. The itinerary was well-paced, allowing us ample time to enjoy each location and take plenty of photos without feeling rushed. Special thanks to our tour guide, R.H., for taking care of us throughout the trip. My family and I truly had a wonderful day.

I had an amazing time on this tour! It was truly one of the highlights of my stay in Korea. The activity was fantastic, the scenery was beautiful, and it was such a refreshing escape from the city. Our guide was incredibly kind, attentive, and thoughtful throughout the entire afternoon. He made sure everyone was comfortable, shared interesting information, and created a great atmosphere for the group. I had a wonderful afternoon and would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

Went on this tour on 09 June and our guide Edward was fantastic. The itinerary felt well paced and comfortable. I never felt rushed at any of the attractions and it was the right amount of time. The restaurant Edward brought us to for lunch served homestyle Korean cooking, which was wholesome and delicious. Even as a solo traveller, I felt well taken care of and had a fun time with the rest of the tour. The strawberry picking was also a particular highlight for me. Despite being the end of the season, the fruit was still pretty sweet and very fun of an experience. My only mild complaint is about the inclusion of herb island (the attraction itself, this is not our guide’s fault). The place felt nearly desolate, many attractions were closed, empty or run down. It felt like there were barely any staff around. I don’t think herb island is a good idea to visit in the summer.

Mr. Dragon made our Pocheon & Seasonal Hot Attractions tour very enjoyable! Sanjung Lake, Bidulginang Cascade, and Herb Island were beautiful, and the strawberry picking experience was amazing — the strawberries were the best we tasted in Korea. He shared lots of interesting information, even taught us some Korean, and made the whole tour fun and pleasant.

We booked this full-day tour not knowing what to expect, but as we wished to go strawberry picking, this was a great option. Our guide, Mr Yoon was very helpful, friendly and accommodating, and after meeting us on time, he ably drove us from place to place. The first place was the Bilduginang Cascade, as it was the dry season, there was no water flowing at the Pigeon's Nest, but the geological features and the views from height were worth the visit. Sanjung Lake was next, the lake is beautiful, surrounded by rolling hills. The Strawberry picking was quick and easy, you pick a box, wash them to eat right away or pack for takeaway without washing. Complimentary jam sandwiches are provided. Finally, Herb Island was not fully open, but there are many Instagram-worthy locations around the park. To be fair, we didn't get to fully experience each location, but this tour is a great sampler for travellers on tight schedules, and gave us ideas for future visits.
