Mr Zhang was our driver and the ride was really pleasant for elders, kids and adults. we took the Takachiho option with this private tour. Communication was easy and great! Thanks for the memories!

The combo ticket was good especially if you have limited time in Beppu. Taking bus from the city centre was easy and it stops close by the museum. Interesting to learn more about the physical characteristics of this hotspring town. Jigoku were within walking distance and beautiful sights to behold. They were well maintained.

Another must-see. It is a very good museum. The exhibits are excellent. Very interesting. Very well done. If you have time, don't miss it. Buy the combo ticket. It's worth it.

easy to use for access to the museum. spectacular graphics. the museum explains how rain becomes onsen water over 50 years. quiz activity for you to complete for a small gift (bath pack). great as a pitstop exploring the 7 hells of Beppu. it’s next to Shiraike Jigoku.

One of the highlights of my recent Kyushu trip. The combo ticket (museum+2 hot springs) was enough for a nice day in Beppu. Don't skip the foot bath in Umi Jigoku!

The museum introduces the origin of Beppu Hell Hot Spring in the form of experience and increases the understanding of related knowledge. The day's itinerary was tight and I couldn't visit all the seven hell hot springs. After seeing the museum, I visited two hell hot springs to polish the attractions a lot.
