nice private onsen, perfect for solo travellers and couples. environment is nice but need to take a short walk from the train station. therapist It/Eat was good with her strength.

Stayed at LiveZen beside the Kaizen spa. The ambience, front desk staff and masseur were friendly and welcoming. No issue communicating my needs as they understand and speak English. I visited twice, seemed to be popular among couples. Before my massage, I was given a pre-massage form, allowing me to clearly communicate my preferred pressure and areas of focus. This thoughtful approach ensured my therapist was fully aware of my needs, allowing me to completely surrender myself to the skilled hands and completely enjoy the session. Compared to the massage places nearby roadside, this place although more pricely but definitely worth visiting. The combination of a welcoming atmosphere, attentive staff, top-notch massage skills make Kaizen a true gem. My therapist possess great massage techniques and delivered a truly rejuvenating experience. My muscles, previously tight and knotted, were skillfully loosened, leaving me feeling completely relaxed and revitalized. Using of warm coconut oil to massage the scalp thoroughly. I get to shower after the session and felt that my hair is nourish too. Great experience!

Overall it's OK, but I didn't feel the Japanese massage style! The hot oil was not that sufficient!

The ambiance and the onsen were amazing, unfortunately the therapist was expert in torture, I felt so much pain during the massage, even after 4 times of sayign "ouch!" lighter please.. still was painful, and counted every minute until it's done.
