It is a place to visit if you are interested in culture or the ancient people who lived in Hokkaido. Very nice and interesting.
The pioneer villages of Hokkaido are very beautiful in winter. With the white snow as a backdrop, it is easy to take beautiful photos.
The whole place is very large and you can spend hours wandering around it. The buildings are restored in the styles of the Meiji to Showa periods. It is a very impressive place and worth a leisurely stroll.
Excellent way to spend 2-3 hrs of the day. Just roaming the place and entering these buildings really transports us back in time. Highly recommended for culture nerds

worth the 30mins car ride from Sapporo station. marvellous well kept historical building. unfortunately most of the buildings were under maintenance when we came and thus it's free admission. counter staff were kind to help cancel purchase and its. pending refund from klook.
The park is very large, and walking around made my feet almost break, but the combination ticket also allows you to visit the Hokkaido Museum next door, which I recommend to people interested in history!
