Reviews
The Bayview Hotel buffet has oysters, snow crab legs, jade snails, mussels, sashimi, sushi... The hotel restaurant environment is relatively comfortable, the staff are relatively friendly, the service attitude is very good, and there are many kinds of cooked food, such as smoked duck, roasted ribs, steamed egg custard, stewed soup... These cooked foods taste delicious, not too salty, very good... Desserts include tofu pudding, Chinese sweet soup desserts, cakes, ice cream... The buffet drinks are okay, the only thing missing is smoked salmon, which is a little disappointing. Overall, I am very satisfied with the buffet dinner, the taste is perfect for us. A friend recommended this hotel's buffet dinner, saying it was worth eating, so I booked this buffet on Klook. In the end, I was very satisfied overall. The price is not too expensive, it's quite reasonable, the service attitude is okay, and in the end, it's worth recommending for a family gathering at this buffet.
Our group of eight had a family gathering, and everyone unanimously expressed their delight with the buffet experience. Regarding the food, there were salads, seafood such as freshly sliced sashimi, freshly shucked oysters (that night they were American oysters, with a sea flavor but not too salty, creamy and fresh), snow crab legs, shrimp, meat crab, and mussels. Hot dishes included BBQ lamb chops (the flavor was a bit bland and not fragrant enough, 2 pieces were undercooked and couldn't be cut), foie gras toast, Peking duck, Portuguese suckling pig rice, Spanish Iberian pork belly char siu (very sweet and juicy). Hot dishes also included Thai red curry duck, slow-cooked beef cheek (it felt very soft when picked up), scallion-cooked halibut, grilled pork jowl, bandit chicken wings, sauerkraut fish, pig's feet in ginger (rich in flavor and very smooth, I haven't had such a delicious one in a long time, no wonder there is a price for takeout) The soup of the day was coconut stewed chicken, full of coconut aroma and sweetness, and the stew also contained ingredients such as white fungus and red dates. The theme that night was Coca-Cola, and several foods/desserts also had Coca-Cola elements. Self-service soft drinks, coffee/tea were also provided. Desserts included about 6 types of cakes and mousse, as well as Hong Kong-style egg waffles, fried dough twists, mini Portuguese tarts, tofu pudding, herbal tea, freshly made pancakes and a wide variety of Movenpick and Haagen-Dazs ice cream, which was really satisfying. The service was also highly appreciated by everyone. Every service colleague in different positions and the chefs in the cooking stations were full of smiles and very kind, and the dishes on the table were cleared immediately after being eaten. They were also very proactive in helping us take pictures, and when they found out that we were celebrating a birthday that night, they also sent a small birthday cake, which was really considerate and heartwarming. The seats are not very dense, allowing for good conversations. The cleanliness of the restroom is also commendable. At this price, we all felt it was great value for money and a very happy and satisfying buffet.
🍽️ Bayview International Hotel Bayview Hall Buffet Dinner · Really affordable and satisfying! I made an appointment for dinner early, the location is so convenient, near the Convention and Exhibition Center, Wanchai Station, after taking pictures of the sunset, come to enjoy a beautiful meal, the atmosphere is excellent, visual + taste double enjoyment ⸻🦀 Seafood Party Scream: All-you-can-eat iced crab legs + oysters! As soon as you enter, you are immediately attracted by the frozen seafood area: freshly opened oysters are fresh and smooth, no snow taste; crab legs are big enough and no smell, and cooked shrimp, mussels, mussels can be mixed, not afraid of not enough points, really appetizing and happy ⸻🍖 Hot food lineup Luxurious · Goose liver + beef fillet is absolutely not random Pan-fried Goose Liver with Black Truffle Sauce: Crispy and tender, not too oily, taste balanced well • Black Pepper Goose Liver Fried Rice: Each rice is fried dry and fragrant, goose liver grains have a presence • Fried beef fillet: The meat is fluffy and not tough, the key is seasoning just right, not salty ⸻🍰 Dessert Area: A paradise for ice cream lovers and cake lovers There are also rare nostalgic desserts: red bean sesame ball, chocolate heart soft, splash egg ball, sweetness just right After trying a round, really kind of "dessert buffet" can be so seriously done ⸻🥤 The drink area is clean and complete. ⸻📝 Summary: It is a small trip on the taste buds The sincerity of the buffet.
I got this “Buy 1 Get 1 Free” promotion through the Klook App, and the table was automatically reserved under my registered mobile number. It seems like the promotion has a limited quota because the dining area wasn't crowded, and we could sit comfortably. I was really impressed with the fridge having soft drinks in glass bottles!
The staff were polite and provided excellent service. They were helpful when it rained, and the restrooms were clean and tidy. Dishes were cleared quickly. The speed of food replenishment could be improved. We arrived at 6:10 PM and were able to be seated early, as our table was already prepared. Dinner started at 6:30 PM. There was a good selection of cold seafood, including crab legs, crayfish, mussels, and clams, as well as shrimp. The oysters were of normal quality, and there were five or six types of sashimi. The venue isn't particularly large, but it's perfectly fine for a casual meal with family. At around $300 with a discount, the price is reasonable. Of course, it doesn't offer the widest variety of dishes, but it does have two brands of ice cream, unlimited bottled sodas, stewed soup, and steamed seafood.
The hot food selection is plentiful and tastes good. Personally, I think the price is low for the outstanding performance. They've done their homework. The sashimi is very fresh, and there are many types of pastries, which are also quite delicious. Perhaps because the price is low, they don't offer expensive ingredients such as oysters and king crab legs. They also don't provide general fruit juice drinks, only hot and cold water, and lemon slices for self-made lemon tea, or coffee from a coffee machine. You get what you pay for. If you have high expectations, you can choose a more expensive buffet restaurant. Purely based on the $200 (Lunch) price, I think it's great value for money, and the restaurant has done its homework.
It’s a great value to come across a buy one get one free offer. There are many kinds of food and they suit our family's taste. The hot meat fried oysters and stuffed crab shells are delicious, the stewed beef noodles are tender and smooth, the steamed fish is delicious, the stewed fish maw and snow fungus soup is filling, and the seafood has long-legged crabs and king crabs in abundance. The carnivorous animals include lamb rack and roast beef. The pork trotter with ginger, Peking duck and tofu pudding are also good. The oysters were a bit too thin and the desserts were not very appealing. Overall it is excellent. The service is also very good. The waiter will take the initiative to help take group photos, which is great! Worth recommending. Come again when you have the chance!
There are many kinds of seafood at night, including long-legged crab legs, crayfish, emerald snails, fried crabs in typhoon shelters, oysters, flat-skinned duck, roasted lamb, fresh salmon sashimi, pig's feet and ginger that melt in your mouth, rich tofu and pinto beans, and waffles The cakes and nostalgic Shakespeare are so unique, the Movipick ice cream has a special espresso taste, a variety of salads and fresh fruits, and a wide variety of desserts and cakes. Each table has iced sea urchin and abalone, which is very special. The Japanese chawanmushi has abalone and sea urchin, and the submarine coconut and snow pear stew is pure and delicious. The water crab porridge is rich in crab flavor and fresh.
it’s super price-worthy to dine in a comfy hotel restaurant during lunchtime. The food choices are sufficient enough. There are not too many people during a weekday. I love the ginger meat, sashimi and the soy bean dessert the most. I would definitely return again if there’s the 50 percent discount.
The hotel is conveniently located and can be reached on foot from the MTR Convention and Exhibition Center station. They offer a variety of Chinese and Western dishes. My personal favorites are the ginger braised pork knuckle and the waffles.
