We were waiting anxiously for confirmation message which we received at 10pm the night before. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed the whole session, the just right length of cycling to and fro our homestay, the marketing and walking through the local market, going through live herbs in the farm, the farming hands-on, the cooking hands-on and the complete lunch thereafter. The neck and foot massage was mild but still refreshing.
It was an eye opening experience to be able to go to the market, get to know their culture and have a go at buying all the raw ingredients, had a try on a mini farming experience and getting hands down on cooking. We felt accomplished when we had the chance to eat what we cook and the food was extremely delicious and appetizing! we score ourself a 4 course meal and ended with a massage! Our guide was very friendly and kept chatting with us! A MUST GO IF U ARE IN HOI AN!
Na took us through Hoi An's food market explaining the items required for the meal we'd later be preparing. Her English was excellent and she answered all our questions, not only about food but also all our questions about Vietnam, it was incredibly informative. I wish we did the tour sooner! What's more we learned about some of the farming practices, got to plant some crops, and she taught us all sorts of cooking techniques. It was a lovely experience! We ended the day with enjoying the food we prepared and ate by the breezy river followed by a nice massage. I should note Na did a wonderful job of incorporating our 3 yr old daughter into the tour keeping her involved as we as entertained which is no easy feat. She some how did all this while also capturing great moments with photos which she also sent to us after the tour. We had a great time and would certainly recommend doing this tour. If not for the wonderful food eaten on the tour but for the braid food she also fed us. Thanks again Na!
I literally just love the experience in tra que village with Naan. She was so helpful, smart and kind so that my sister and my mother were able to enjoy the time there. The cooking class includes not only the 'cooking' part, it also includes the local market experience as well as foot massage (Which was realllllllly nice) If anyone that I know go to Hoian, I will not hesitate to recommend 😍 Really loved it! !!!! The Village Cooking Class was such a great experience! I didn't want to ride a basket boat, so I chose it. It was a very good experience to visit the local market, see the village of Zasweet Village, enjoy the scenery by the river, lunch and foot massage! It's not a full indoor or a full outdoors, so it might be a bit hot if you go in the summer, but it's a good content that I can easily follow, even if I have little or no cooking experience. ! The dog that Naan raised and eight newborn puppies are lazy. ㅠㅠ Cute things .. Anyway, if you have acquaintances who are going to Hoi An, I would recommend without hesitation! 😍❤️
Ana Mae (spelling?) and Ruby were great tour guides through the market. Riding through the rice fields on bikes and getting to see water buffalo was a fun way to travel. When we got to the farm, we were able to smell and identify some new herbs that we had not heard of before. Na’s cooking class was so fun and informative. We got to enjoy our delicious food by the river, and it was so peaceful. Ending our day with a quick massage, fresh fruit, and tea was great. Thank you to everyone involved. We had such a great time. We also have some great pictures and videos to memorialize the day.
Wonderful experience with a lovely guide who was very informative about the market. Also able to have hands on experience on farming, and learnt how to cook multiple dishes!
one of our fave experience in Hoi An super good food, good place and nice experience. A definite must do
I told you the hotel pick up the day before, but I was worried about not coming. But I was on time for the appointment, thanked you for looking around Hoi An Central Market and buying spices, sauces and rice paper. What was the village? It was nice to see the farms run by the village and vegetables that are hard to meet in Korea. It was so good to learn how to cook and eat by the river. Do you have a massage here? Is it cool? I had such a suspicion, but it was good and overwhelming because I was massaged with the wind. I walked quite a bit and it was a good time to relax. Recommended if you are looking for a cooking class. It is kind to host nha
We had an amazing experience!! Na speaks excellent English, the market tour was interesting and diverse, and the cooking workshop was professional. We had a fantastic meal and enjoyed it very much! most recommended!!
We had a wonderful morning with Na. She was very experienced and efficient with great English conversation. She explained so much about Vietnamese food and culture. We were welcomed into her village and home. The location next to the river for lunch was relaxing. Thank you so much Na and we highly recommend your service to anyone visiting Hoi An.
