Very effective team from Fantastic Similan Islands Tour. Prompt communication for pick up arrangement. Driver was skilled and managed to catch up some time since the pier terminal was located on the main island. Upon arrival, I was assigned to a coloured group (dark blue number 8). Team leader Khun Siri was jovial and friendly with the briefing on the islands and the tour routes. Other team members were also helpful and paying attention to details, thanks to Leo, Jojo and Alexi. First brief stop at Island number 8 for a majestic view of the beauty of Similan islands. Then we had 2 islands stop for snorkeling activities. Last stop was at Island number 4 for lunch and some relax time. Truly fantastic trip to see crystal blue water, fine sand beaches and fun snorkeling. There was also a tea refreshment arranged when we reached back the pier terminal. Kudos to all the members in Fantastic Similan Tour!
I had an amazing time on the Similan Islands snorkel tour. Clear waters, vibrant marine life, and everything was well organised. The guide was friendly, the transfer was smooth, and the whole trip felt totally worth it. Highly recommended.
It was a very wonderful tour. The guide was fun and the explanation was very easy to understand. The itinerary was: 6:00 Patong hotel pick-up → 8:30 arrival at pier (light meal) → 9:30 departure → 11:00 Island No. 8 (60 minutes stay) → Island No. 9 (40 minutes snorkeling) → Island No. 7 (40 minutes snorkeling) → Island No. 4 (90 minutes lunch) → 16:40 arrival at pier (light meal) → 19:30 arrival at hotel. Before boarding the boat, you will receive a beach set in a tote bag of the same color as the wrist belt. Since everything is managed by color, it is very easy to see the boat, guide, meeting time, etc. The bag contains a mask, snorkel, mat, and towel. As expected of the Similan Islands, the visibility at the snorkel point was over 30m and it was amazing. Please try it. However, the travel time is long (2 hours by car one way, 1 hour and 20 minutes by boat one way), so it may be best to avoid this tour if you are sensitive to vehicles or have small children with you.
I really enjoyed the excursion. The Similan Islands are interesting. We swam with masks, relaxed, and swam. Everything was super organized. Team Oleg and Lucy were great, I recommend it
I think this tour was a great value for money. I think this price is cheap for round-trip pickup, snacks, meals, and equipment rental. The schedule is that they ask for your room number by email the day before pickup. If you simply reply with your room number, you will arrive within 30 minutes of the pickup time listed. (It may be even later if other people get on late.) Even if you don't reply to the email, they will come to pick you up, so don't worry too much. You can wait in the lobby in advance. After that, when you gather at the dock, they will give you bracelets by color and give you equipment. You can rent flippers separately after receiving them, but I actually thought I didn't need them. While waiting, you can eat a simple buffet. There are 3-4 kinds of bread, coffee, rice, and noodles. But it's really delicious. We divided the boats based on the color of the bracelets we gave you after eating, and I was surprised that the guides were so energetic. It's crazy to drive for about 1 hour and 20 minutes, so make sure to take motion sickness medicine. The boat is faster and scarier than you think. The first time, we just looked around the island for about an hour and wandered around, and there was nothing special, so it was a bit more boring than I thought. And for the 2nd and 3rd courses, we went swimming in the ocean. The ocean was clear and super fun. LOL After that, we went to another island for lunch, and the food there was really delicious. The food was varied, with spaghetti, chicken soup, and stir-fried vegetables. You can play there for about an hour and then return to the dock to eat more food and snacks. The menu was a bit different than before, so I was able to keep eating without getting tired. And when you first received your bracelet, you can go back to the pickup vehicle by looking at the van number that was given to you. As a tip, I think it would be less uncomfortable to bring extra clothes and wear them instead of wet clothes on the way back!! I hope this article was helpful!!! (The guides speak English, so even native speakers have a hard time understanding it, so you can just follow the color of the bracelet. LOL)
The service was worth the price. The staff was very kind, and the speed boat seating with two and three seats side-by-side was better than rows. However, the space in front was a little narrow. They lend you a set of things like a bath towel, mat, and snorkel in a bag. I thought it was well-managed. The 1.5-hour ride to Similan has quite a bit of vibration. Regarding meals, there wasn't much to eat for breakfast, but lunch was normally delicious. There was also a light meal and coffee service after arrival. One of the two snorkeling spots in Similan had lots of fish to see. Overall, I was very satisfied! ♪
very good organizated tour, on time hotel pick-up,good reception, good snookling equipment, reasonable meals arrangements. The team guide leader his 5-6 staffs, took care all the participants well, clearly explained for what should pay attention etc. let us felt safe and enjoyed the tour very much. Highly recommend this tour for my friends.
The boat ride to the islands is scenic, and once there, you can explore beautiful beaches and enjoy activities like snorkeling among colorful fish and turtles. While the islands can be crowded, the breathtaking views and incredible underwater experience make it well worth the visit. Tour was amazing by fantastic similan.
The whole trip was very well arranged, the shuttle bus was very comfortable, the driver was very polite, and the driving made the guests feel safe. The meeting place is very large, well-organized, and the equipment is carefully arranged for the guests, even the beach is available. Breakfast, lunch, snacks and return meals were all adequate and tasty. Arrange enough tour guides to accompany the group. The tour guides are humorous and make people feel at ease and happy. The beach is very, very beautiful, with glassy water and powdery sand, which makes people reluctant to leave. Highly recommended.
Absolutely beautiful islands, the only real price is the long transport. Customer service was reachable at 5:40am when the shared taxi showed up late, understandable since the driver had to wait for the late customers. Nancy is a lovely and enthusiastic guide, and the team took good care of everyone. Everyone gets the food from the same place, it is what is it. Overall, a very good excursion!
