Reviews
Reviews summarythe tour goes through very scenic places. The ride itself is very enjoyable seeing through the window. The guide Ana was very pleasant and although the trip is a bit packed but her attitude was relaxed and we never felt hurried
The scheduled one-day tour to Andorra was originally scheduled to depart at 7 o'clock, but it was postponed to 7:50 due to the travel agency. This is really a bit frustrating. After all, the whole group arrived at the meeting point early, got up early under the stars, but waited for nearly an hour, and it was inevitable that they felt a little disappointed. Fortunately, after the trip started, everything was on track! The three stops along the way were arranged very well: the first stop was the former French fortress, which has now turned into a beautiful small village. The scenery along the way can be described as "picture-in-one", which directly maximized the wonderful value of the trip; the second stop was the Andorra Observation Deck, overlooking the towering mountains, and the magnificent scenery was refreshing; finally, you can move freely in the city of Andorra, shopping and enjoying the scenery as you like. The tour guide not only planned the itinerary reasonably, but also explained it in detail and vividly. The driver was calm and reliable, and felt safe. Compared with groping to take a car by yourself, this trip has a unique experience of the French border village, and you can also climb the observation deck to enjoy the mountain scenery. The cost performance is directly off the charts! Although the departure was slightly delayed, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages and it is definitely 100% recommended!
This journey, starting from the bustling center of Barcelona and going deep into the Pyrenees Mountains, crossed borders, and stepped into different countries and cultures, leaving me with deep and warm memories. Our first stop was Mont-Louis in southern France, a plateau fortress town hidden in the mountains. At 1,600 meters above sea level, it is one of the highest fortresses in France. The town retains the military architectural style of the Louis XIV period in the 17th century and is quiet and simple. Walking along the path surrounded by stone walls, with the vast Pyrenees scenery in front of me, all that was left in my heart was "tranquility" and "beauty". The town's cheese shop, church, and streets full of historical atmosphere, each of which makes people feel the accumulation of time. Afterwards, we crossed the invisible border and arrived at the tax-free paradise of Andorra. What surprised me about Andorra is that it is not just a place for shopping, but also a small country that blends Spanish and French culture while retaining its own unique rhythm. The streets are bustling with people and lined with shops, but when you walk into the alleys, you can feel a hint of the tranquility of a mountain city. Especially the local cuisine and specialty cheese, olive oil and perfume are hard to resist. During the entire trip, I am most grateful to our tour guide Blanca and the gentle and steady female driver. Blanca is not just a tour guide, but more like a friend on the journey. Her explanations are vivid and interesting. Not only does she let us understand the local history and culture, but she also adds many small stories that are close to the heart. She used Catalan hospitality to make us feel warm in a strange country. The female driver's driving skills are very stable, especially on the winding mountain roads, which makes people feel safe. On the way back, the setting sun shone through the car window, and Blanca whispered, "We're almost back to Barcelona." At that moment, I suddenly felt a little reluctant. This day is like a condensed travel life, from the city to the mountain city, from the border to the state of mind. Thank you Blanca, thank you driver lady. This journey is so special because of you. I hope there will be opportunities in the future to follow you again and discover more corners of the world together.
Amigo Tours - Tri-Country Adventure: Spain, France, and Andorra This tour was incredibly well-organized, making the most of our time despite the limited duration at each stop. It was absolutely worth it! A huge shoutout to Enrique, our guide, who made the experience even more enjoyable. He has a pleasant personality, is very accommodating, and remains highly professional throughout the trip. His attention to detail, such as reminding us to wear our seatbelts, showed his thoughtfulness and care. He struck the perfect balance between providing insightful information and allowing us moments to simply relax and take in the breathtaking scenery. Special mention to our lady driver (I regret not catching her name)—her driving skills were unmatched! She navigated the route with such confidence and precision, making us feel safe the entire time. The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly Andorra. Witnessing the cherry blossoms in full bloom was a magical experience, and of course, shopping was a must since Andorra is known for its low-tax goods. Overall, this tour is highly recommended for those looking to experience three countries in a day. If you have a day to spend and loves to explore, this one is for you. It’s an unforgettable journey with a fantastic team!
this is an experience that I'll recommended to try. there's some small hiccup with our transport, but rectified as efficiently as the situation can be. I like the slow pace & more that you can literally visit 3 countries in 1 day... our guide Enrique did a good job on our visit. recommended!
This was a full day (7am to 7pm) tour. Our guide was Lorena. She explained things well in English and Spanish. First stop was breakfast stop before heading to Mont-Louis. Long bus ride but the view is scenic. In Andorra, it was free and easy in the shopping area to look for lunch. Lorena said the church was closed. Maybe not enough time to visit. Then it was another 3 hours bus ride back to Barcelona. Go for this one day tour if you have extra day in Barcelona, and chance to visit another 2 countries.
The trip was amazing, Lorena and the boss lady driver (i forgot the name) was both fantastic and professionals. The etenirary was a bit tight (i meant, it's a long drive and the bus don't have a toilet itself) so in that matters 😊 for me who has bladder problem is a bit of a problem. But all in all, trip was naturally blissful. Regards, Mae👋
That was an amazing experience for me. I didn't know that I had gone to the place with such beautiful nature. The tour guide was very polite and kind. However, it was a very cold day. I recommend that we bring a warm jacket and some hot tea.
Although the ride to France and Andorra is long, we enjoyed the trip. Danny, our tour guide, is very knowledgeable of the places that we visited. It is safe, they always mention to fasten the seatbelt.
Carlos was a great and polite guide. He makes sure that instructions are clear and participants understood it prior to having spent our free time during the tour. Great quick tour from Barcelona.
