It's been a travel tradition that I go to an Observatory during the first day of my travel and the Sky Promenade is a perfect choice since it offers a 360 degree view of the whole of Nagoya. You can even see Nagoya Castle and the Mirai Tower from afar. Taking a timelapse video from above with the bullet train, local train and cars below was great! Came in at around 8PM and there is no wait.
we had so much fun in this activity, thanks klook for a very afordable and yet beautiful and exciting experience with this observatory deck, we’ve seen the whole nagoya especially at night we experienced walking around the observatory deck, we did tiktok also in the 44th floor😂😂highly recommended this activity when you go to nagoya.
Since the tour group schedule didn't allow for much personal freedom, the travel agency arranged for us to stay at the ibis near the station, leaving us with free time in the evening. After dinner, my husband and I took a leisurely walk to the observatory tower, located on floors 44-46. When we first arrived, we were a bit unsure if we were in the right place because there was no one around 😅. But we followed the signs to the entrance, where we quickly purchased tickets online and were able to use them immediately by just showing the purchase information on our phones. There's a restaurant in the observatory with a bit of a barbecue smell. It was quite windy, but there were seats available where we could relax. They also had lighted chairs for taking pictures, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was a good experience. Klook Booking Convenience: Very convenient. Experience: Worth trying if you've never been. Price: We spent about 30 minutes there, and it cost about NT$347 for two people, which I think is acceptable. Facilities: Clean and comfortable.
We highly recommend to avail this activity for your next Nagoya, Japan trip. This is a great tourist spot and we enjoyed the seamless process of availing the admission ticket via Klook instead of buying admission tickets over the counter. This activity provides a different take on observatory tourist attractions since this is outdoor. Thrilling experience and a new one at the same time. This attraction site serves a stunning view of Nagoya and you can also spot or see the Nagoya castle on the other side of the outdoor observatory. We went here during the afternoon time and it was very windy so you may want to prepare a light jacket as you explore the area since it may seem cold due to the breeze. One for the books activity and tourist attraction here in Nagoya, Japan. Excited to go back to Nagoya, Japan again and explore more attraction sites the place offers. Make sure to book this ticket on your next Nagoya, Japan trip. Amazing, stunning views with a new, thrilling experience. Thanks
Sky Promenade Nagoya – A Romantic and Cost-Effective Sky Observation Deck! (Get a Discount on Tickets through Klook) If you visit Nagoya and are looking for a place to see a panoramic view of the city, I highly recommend that you don’t miss Sky Promenade on the Midland Square building, an extremely romantic city viewpoint both day and night. Sky Promenade is an open-air observation deck on the 44th–46th floors of the Midland Square building, the tallest building in Nagoya (about 220 meters). Once you get to the top, the view is very beautiful. You can see 360 degrees of the city with nothing blocking it. When I went, I chose to go in the evening, near sunset. The atmosphere was great. The wind was cool. The city view gradually changed from gold to glittering lights. Every angle you take pictures is beautiful. I booked tickets in advance through Klook. It was a little cheaper than buying at the event and it was very convenient. Just show the QR Code from the app to the staff when you go up and you can enter. No need to waste time queuing. What impressed me • The view of Nagoya in the evening and at night was surprisingly beautiful. • Not crowded, not as many people as the big landmarks. • The atmosphere is suitable for taking pictures. Listen to quiet music or sit and chill with your loved one. Recommendations • It is recommended to go in the evening before the sun sets to get both day and night views. • If you go in winter, it is very windy up there, so you should bring a windbreaker. • Tickets from Klook can be used right away without having to exchange for a real ticket. Conclusion: Sky Promenade is another hidden gem of Nagoya that is very worthwhile, especially if you buy tickets through Klook, you get a discount and don't have to waste time queuing. It is suitable for people who want to see a beautiful view of the city but don't like crowds. If I have a chance to come again, I will definitely go back.
You can use it immediately after buying it. It is worth going. You can take the designated elevator to the 42nd floor and then take the escalator to the 43rd floor to check your ticket. Then continue to take the escalator to the 46th floor of the observation deck. Then you can walk along the trail of the observation deck to enjoy the scenery of the south, east and north. Finally, the trail will lead to the lower floor where there are chairs to sit and rest and enjoy the scenery. This time I came at the right time to see the sunset + night view. I was really lucky (sometimes no arrangement is the best arrangement). But the disadvantage of the observation deck is that it is very windy and cold. I wondered why it was so cold indoors, but when I came back and checked online, I found out that the roof is open == It is a semi-open terrace
This time when I came to Nagoya, I specially arranged to go to the "Sky Promenade" to see the night view. It was really worth it! This outdoor observation deck is located on the "Midland Square" high-rise building near Nagoya Station. It is very easy to find and it is also convenient to walk there from the underground street. Take the elevator all the way to the top floor, and you’ll instantly feel like you’ve entered a world high in the sky. The biggest feature of the Sky Promenade observation deck is that it offers a 360-degree view of the entire city of Nagoya, with a very wide field of vision. When the lights come on at night, the night view of the whole city is super beautiful. In the distance, you can see the Nagoya Tower and a bunch of flashing lights of high-rise buildings, which is very healing. The atmosphere is very quiet and comfortable. Unlike some observation decks that are crowded with people, there are not too many people here, so you can appreciate and take pictures slowly. If you like watching the night view like me, Sky Promenade is really a small attraction you can't miss in Nagoya. It is romantic and relaxing. I recommend it!
The Sky Promenade Outdoor Observatory in Nagoya offers breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views of the city from 220 meters above ground. Located on the 44th to 46th floors of the Midland Square, it's easily accessible and provides a unique perspective of Nagoya during both day and night. Visitors can enjoy the city skyline, distant mountains, and the bustling cityscape below. The open-air design allows for a truly immersive experience, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking stunning city views.
I love that this is not crowded compared to other observatory I have visited in the past. It is a nice view from 42nd to 44th floor. I love that there is a chill spot for people in the 42nd floor just sitting and chilling, admiring the view from above.
Redeeming the tickets were convenient. Signages were provided for easy navigation. We entered the lobby and headed straight to the 42nd floor. Place wasnt crowded. Ideal time stay would be before sunset.
