Taipei Ningxia Night Market Food Walking Tour (Incl. 10 Foods)

I had a wonderful experience on this Ningxia Night Market tour with Vicky! She was so knowledgeable and engaging as she explained to me about each dish as well as the history of the surrounding area and Taiwan at large. I definitely recommend this tour for those who may feel intimidated or overwhelmed navigating night markets for the first time or on their own since Vicky took care of everything.

We had an amazing tour of Ningxia night market with Vicky. She is very knowledgable about the area and the different food vendors. Her choice of food was very good and she answered all our questions. You definitely won’t be hungry for awaile after this tour.

I highly recommend this tour with Vivian! Vivian was attentive and thoughtful in her food recommendations. She is humorous and delightful, making the tour fun and lighthearted. She took care of the ordering and explained each dish. You must try the oyster omelette and peanut ice cream - my favorites!

Huge thanks to Alex for being such a great tour guide! We really enjoyed our trip with him, and we got to learn about go-to food stops and the culture behind each site. (he also taught us some useful phrases we could say to the locals!). The types of food in this trip varies from savory meals to sweet desserts so it’s really worth booking especially if it’s your first time in Taiwan. The prices are affordable as well. Again, we really appreciate Alex for guiding us and going out of his way to recommend other places to fit into our itinerary and even teaching us how to use the MRT! We thoroughly enjoyed our guided food tour with Mavis. She was an engaging, fun, and knowledgeable tour guide for us. She showed us a lot of local food places around Taipei Main Station that we would not have known about even though our hotel was near by. We visited 6 food places and 2 drink stops and all of them were amazing, Mavis also listens to your preferences and suggests the petfect fits. She gaves us tips about local breakfasts and how to enjoy the various foods best and even gave us some insight on how to save money in convenience stores!

I had a really enjoyable time on the Ningxia Night Market food tour. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and I especially appreciated that they gave everyone in the group different food options based on preferences. Their recommendations were spot-on, and I got to try some local dishes I might’ve missed on my own. One suggestion for improvement: it would’ve been helpful if the guide gave a quick overview of the food options and their top picks at the start. The night market can be pretty crowded and overwhelming, so making quick decisions in the moment was a little tricky. That said, I really liked that they kept the group small — it made the experience more intimate and easier to manage in a busy environment. Overall, a great way to explore the night market with a local expert. Would definitely recommend!

Today's food tour was led by Thomas, and we visited all the large and small food stores in Ximending. It was really great!

We had a fun experience with tourguide Vicky through the Ximending area and nightmarket. She is friendly, shows food recommendations and you can ask for specialities you want to try.

A very enjoyable food tour with our guide Vicky. Since there were only three of us, we were able to request a customized itinerary and choose the dishes we wanted to try. Unfortunately, it was raining that evening, and quite a few stalls were missing.
