What to expect
The glorious landscape of the Uratomi Coast is your escapade in this wonderful day tour. Your first stop is the Uratomi Coast cruise. This incredible landscape is accredited and protected by UNESCO and is an idyllic paradise of blue seas and green cliffs. Next, head to the Tottori Sand Dunes. With a stop first for lunch at the Tottori Sand Dune Restaurant. After your scrumptiously fresh specialty seafood dishes, visit the dunes and the Sand Museum. From the beachscape of Uratomi, feel as though you have teleported into the rolling desert sands. The Sand Museum in particular has a thematic concept of “Traveling Around the World with Sand”, and you will be able to see intricately created sand statues and structures. Afterward, you will be able to unwind and take a break with a shopping excursion at Tottori's Tofu Chikuwa no Sato Chimura, where you can get tofu chikuwa, a unique type of protein roll. Return to Umeda full of great memories of the coast

Had a great day tour and such a unique day! It’s also a destination you wouldn’t expect from Japan landscaping. It is quite far from Osaka so you spend a bit of time on the road. Shame the weather wasn’t the best but it was a good mix of a cruise, lunch, sand dunes, sand museum and ending in pear picking! There could have been better communication channels with the tour guide (like setting up a WhatsApp group).
simple and chill itinerary to follow, the pears were juicy and big. unfortunately due to bad weather, we weren’t able to take the ferry, it was replaced by a short stopover at a view point and a gift.
We arrived on an okay day. But soon the rain took over. Mako, our guide did her best for what the day was. We started offf on a cruise, but the rain and waves were too much after a few minutes, we had to turn back for safety reasons. Mako, is mostly only Japanese speaking. she knows some English. But she used an iPad and called translators to help translate to English and Chinese for us patrons. Mako and the bus driver did a great job! This day, the rain took over. The dunes were wet and wild. The sand museum was inside, as well as the pear picking was covered. We were provided with a meal at the dunes stop. Even though the rain got us, it was a great experience.
We went on summer and its very hot and humid in Osaka so Totori gives us a bit of a comfort because its windy there. Our guide Joekowaki is very kind in assisting us, the food served for lunch is also Oishi. 2 beautiful Unesco places in 1 trip is hard to come by.
this was super worth it. it has delicious lunch, and good places to visit. i really enjoyed it as a solo traveler even though i wasnt feeling good at that time due to a runny nose lol! But despite that, i appreciate the tour as well as the efficient and well-versed tour guide. this is a good booking!
A day tour which I would highly recommended. there’s boat ride, a nice lunch, sand dune which I managed to climb to the other side despite the hot weather. Amazing sand sculpture. We liked the best of this tour was the all you can eat pear picking. the pears were big and juicy!! Yummy! My husband can eat 4 all by himself !
Great itinerary and time management on this tour Bcuz got sufficient time to take photo and bought souvenirs. The Japanese tour escort tried his best to speak in English and was very helpful when introducing the tour spots. A minor disappointment is the food is not Buffett type
sand museum is amazing, very nice artwork. pear picking is also enjoyable, you get to eat many as you can on the spot but you can't bring it home for free ofcourse. this tour is recommended, beautiful nature at its finest.
Very good itinerary, we enjoyed the sightseeing, pear picking, and the amzaing sand museum. The Japanese tour guide was very kind to arrange for the vegetarian lunch despite my last-minute requst.
very nice trip. I recommend it once going to these places and experience it. it was dreamy 😍 ✨️. very helpful and nice japanese tour guide well organized 👌 and awesome person. I really enjoyed my time and food was incredible 😋.
