The tour guide was really nice and the Van was very comfortable. The tour guide explained the food very well and the portions were huge. The food were amazing. Highly recommended.

OK. This was a GENIUS tour! Of all the tours we had, THIS is the tour that I'd love to DO AGAIN!.. ..Nora, our tour guide, just made it much better by being a great guide; sharing all needed info and trivia re the places we went to, as well as other food suggestion. A MUST try!

Review for: Bangkok Michelin Star Food Tour (Evening/ Dinner)

I was contacted a day prior via email to ask if I would like to join the afternoon tour as there is no one else for the evening tour, which I agreed. Supposed to meet at 11.30am at my hotel but the guide (Nura?) was late, reaching at around 11.50am. Turns out the group cancelled and I'll still be alone. We took another 10 mins to get a taxi/grab to go to our 1st place, which was Patonggo Cafe. (I was abit shocked at this point cause I thought we will be taking a private van/car.) 2nd and 3rd stops were Nai Ek Roll Noodles and Polo Fried Chicken - which were fantastic. I didn't wanted the beer so she got me a pepsi instead. Between these stops were quite some wait for the Grabs as well as the jam in Bangkok is bad. We took a 30-40mins drive out to the 4th stop, which was the beef noodles. And unfortunately it was closed due to CNY, and the tour thus abruptly ended, with her calling a grab for me to get back to my hotel (which took 1.5 hours). I only got to try 3 dishes (instead of the 6 promised; even if with beef noodles, it would have been 4). I wasn't full and by the time I got back to my hotel, it was dinner time. As the last driver dropped me off a bit off from my hotel & I had to walk back (and got lost meanwhile), I realised that there were other Michelin food stores near my hotel & even a patonggo outlet. I think if research was done more thoroughly, we wouldn't have had to be travelling around so much with time wasted on the traffic jam. Although I had a good time chatting with Nura, I have to say I was quite disappointed in this tour. Hope that better improvements can be made for it soon.

Def hassle free to hv someone picked you from hotel to the eateries back to hotel, but Im not too sure if it is value-for-money. Guide Nora is from Myanmar, polite and pleasant but I didn’t like how she skipped the 1 mug of beer for each participant without communicating to us and was supposed to be in the package. She also gave the feeling hoping we continue to stay in chinatown so that they don’t have to send us back to hotel (chinatown is too crowded to get a taxi back). In the end she didn’t follow us in the taxi back which is fine with us . There is no chinatown market tour given. She merely brought us straight to the eatery/ stall. Food was decent, no long wait and actually not pricey. We had polo fried chicken, phad thai, this nai ek roll noodle and some kaya/pandan you tiao.

A fun activity to explore Bangkok’s diverse rich food cultural heritage. Nora, our guide, is informative and eager to showcase selected food in authentic settings. Be prepared to be immersed in Bangkok’s bustling streets, crowds and be open to different food experiences.
