Our food tour with James was wonderful. He was very friendly and nice to chat with, which made the tour feel relaxed and fun. The food he introduced was really good, and we enjoyed discovering new local flavours. A great experience overall!
My tour guide's name is Del. He took us through every street very carefully, and stopped on both sides of the main river to tell us the history of a hundred years ago. Our English level is not very good, but Del is still very patient and speaks slowly word by word, so we can understand 80% to 90% of the content, and the walking speed makes people feel very relaxed. Upon further questioning, I found out that he is a retired man and a doctor. He also shared with us a lot of things about healthy dining. We are so lucky to meet this tour guide. People who come to Chiang Mai for the first time are highly recommended to take this trip. If you are as lucky as I am, you can also meet him.
Great food tour! Our tour guide Ms Pranom Tapor is knowledgeable & provided excellent insight into the foods we tried. She also helped us to order our foods & arranged for us to be seated, making it easier for the group to enjoy the great foods without any hassle.

Just select the departure date and time period (divided into three sessions: 8:30, 11:30, and 14:30) and the number of people. A confirmation email will be sent to your email address the day before, and the specific meeting place and photo description will be informed. We will arrive at 8:15 in the morning. We arrived at the meeting point (beside Jamsong Bridge, under the overpass across the road from Tom Lamyai Flower Market). We visited the flower market first. The flowers were very fresh and cheap. At 8:30, the tour guide came to meet the tour guide wearing green Trip Guru clothes. My name is Nana, a middle-aged woman, and she speaks English throughout the whole journey. She took our family of three on a half-day trip with her. The first stop was Lung Khajohn Wat Ket. We crossed the bridge first. Because Nuanmei was in a hurry, she went to a nearby temple to use the restroom. , this restaurant specializes in steamed rice dumplings stuffed with peanuts, and also has two fresh coconuts. It feels good to sit on the roadside and eat it. Afterwards, we turned back across the bridge and headed to Warorot Market, where we bought baby corn and other snacks along the way. Then we went to Go Neng first, which is a special-shaped fried food shop where you can fry dragons, elephants, crocodiles, etc. In fact, he bought very Styling fried food is very cheap, but once it is styled, it is a bit more expensive. Paired with two kinds of coconut milk dipping sauces, the taste is great, but you will still get tired of it if you eat too much. Then I went to buy the famous mango sticky rice in Waroro Market. The last stop is Guay Jub Chang Moi Tat Mai, which actually sells spring rolls with sauce and pork rice noodles. The fried crispy pork belly is also okay.
A tour where you can experience gourmet food by visiting Chiang Mai's famous street restaurants led by a guide. I completely misunderstood the meeting place at first, so I wandered around and eventually took a taxi again and finally met the guide. There are morning and afternoon tours, but I chose the afternoon tour because I felt like I would be full from breakfast in the morning. But I recommend going in the morning because you can have a more lively restaurant experience. I thought the cost of experiencing the food was included, but you have to pay for the food yourself. However, since it is cheap, the food does not cost much. I like that I can easily find restaurants that are difficult to find if I go alone.
Pattie is an amazing guide. she was really jolly and patient in answering our questions, gave us insight to local culinary scene, each dish was truly unique to Thailand at large. This reason alone makes the tour worth it. however, I didn't like the fried donut place, unique, probably not my style. And the tour is only 2 hours, the information in this listing is quite confusing.
