Borobudur (Climb + Guided) and Prambanan Temples Tour in Yogyakarta

The Borobudur tour was quite the experience! Our guide Trisno (not sure if that's the correct name) enlightened us with the history and philosophy of the temple. Prambanan was also good, we did not have enough money for a tour guide. Also, our drivers Sulis and Adit were very friendly

Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and shared fascinating insights about both Borobudur and Prambanan temples. Climbing Borobudur was truly unforgettable with stunning views and rich history. Prambanan was equally impressive, with its beautiful architecture and peaceful surroundings. The itinerary was well-paced with enough time to explore, rest, and enjoy meals. Transportation was comfortable throughout the journey. Overall, this tour is well-organized, worth every penny, and highly recommended for anyone visiting Yogyakarta. Truly a memorable and enriching cultural experience!

We got Nicko as a driver and he was great. The car was clean and comfortable and he was very attentive and provided tips on what to do. The tour overall was interesting but per the description, it requires a good amount of walking and climbing so make sure you're up for it. Highly recommend the local tour at Prambanan Temple instead of going around yourself. Nicko helped us arrange for the local guide and we got Ricco and he was very knowledgeable and funny, made the experience very good.

Borobudur Temple: Very easy flow steps of visiting the park and the temple. They provide slippers to wear- make sure you try both styles. The guide had a lot of knowledge, 30mins with guide. Then 30mins to explore ourselves - plenty of time. dont buy souvineers here as it is more expensive. There is a cafe and restaurant as you walk back to the start - has gelato, food, drinks, air conditioning- nice break! About 1hr - 1.5 hr drive in between Temples Prambanan Temple: Had a 30min guide-spoke English. Really nice area to check out other than the temples. You can get on a tram to get to the Siwa Temple = 25,000IDR /per person - however only have 10mins to check it out. They still putting the temples all back together. Buy your souvineers from here. The cheapest compared to Borobudur Driver: Erich messaged night before and he was on time. Safe driving and he made sure we were comfortable.He took us to a place for lunch which provided delicious food (additional). Very friendly and kind.

Driver sends pick up messages before 1 day at night, driving smoothly, he is really nice. Only 4 people in the group and we all go to the top in Borobudur Temple. Guiders are great, introduces the places with some stories and details. Very recommended for traveling in Yogyakarta.

A nice young 19 years old tour guard[Hafi] is our driver who bring us safely to our destination is able to speak good English. The tour guard who shared the great history of Borobudur and Prambanan is very knowleable. My driver Raihan was great. Picked me up on time. Held onto all our shoes while we climbed up Borobudur temple (you are required to wear the slippers they give you and you get to keep! As souvenirs). He also took me and the other solo female traveler to the nearby temple (999 stone mountain). It is a phenomenal tour which everyone should do. I had a lot of fun!

Very organized. the driver messages you the day before and arrives on time the next day. he is very friendly and gives good advice on where to eat lunch. Borobodur and Prambanan were very beautiful but expect the heat so bring an umbrella or cap. they provide water but there is a lot walking still.

Definitely worth every penny! We got to see the different temples and a brief history as well as the story that revolve around them. Our driver, Udik, was very good at taking picturs too! This is definitely a must when visiting Jogja ☺️
